Possibly the best review I've seen of this palette. So many KZbinrs overlooked Vega. But, IMO, Vega shows Lisa Eldridge's color genius more than any of them. The undertones in Vega are so surprising. The mix of slightly warm, with very cool tones, plus that blue based gray, is brilliant. I have many of the comps you showed, but nothing like that blue gray, which really makes the whole look. My Vega is being shipped. Can't wait to get it. Thanks for the video.💚

Thank you!! that blue grey is really interesting and I love how even used in a very very small amount it has the ability to totally shift the look in what I like to call “ice queen” territory while still looking so chic and elegant!

It’s a beautiful palette. It may sound odd but the array of colours in it immediately reminded me of the various colours bruises turn as they heal on my very cool-toned skin. Who knew those colours could look so fantastic as eyeshadow! It really suits you Sandra.

The Vega palette is eerily similar to a Tom Ford limited edition palette White Suede. I have both and it’s basically a dupe tbh. The formulations are different but, the tones are dead on. I think Mel Thompson dedicated a video on TF White Suede palette three or four years ago. I remembered her review because the Tom Ford palette looked unique at the time and it was one of her favorites.

The cool tones really suit you! I can confirm the Myth palette is also very nice. The shades are similarly buildable to quite vibrant purples but you could do a more neutral gray/lilac look too.

Great review and thanks for in-depth intel. Very tempted by this palette but probably only as it is an LE item. Think it best to find similar shadows already owned and have a play, as I don't want it to end up in the section of palettes I never end up using. A good way to not impulse buy is to wait for 6 to 8 months and see if your favourite MUAs are still using it a fair amount, or if they have forgotten about it and gone on to the next hyped palette.

I've been looking forward to this video! Just wow, Sandra. Such a lovely look! I'm so digging the cool-toned shadows on you. With my very strong olive undertones, to the point I almost look green, I personally tend to favour shadows like cool taupes and warm greys; I find they suit me best. You can really pull off both cool and warm equally, which is true for a lot of olive-complected persons. Yes, to seeing a look with your new modified palette! Btw, I absolutely loved the soft navy on you.. ;) xo

I think it was Sonia Butler who posted a message she recieved from Lisa Eldridge's team and they said they are coming out with the empty palettes. I wonder why they're so much more expensive than the palettes. Beautiful look! 💖

When I heard you'd ordered this palette I immediately ordered it too, and I'm so happy. It's stunning, with cooler tones that are very wearable by people with warm toned skin. Just the right level of pigmentation. Love the packaging too. Love the looks by day and night. So relieved, because my other purchase was Muse, and now I've met Vega I know that Muse is a flat-out dud. Poor pigmentation (and I'm all about the subtle looks), hard pan on one of the shiny shades already in an effort to make it freaking show up, and trying to build causes an unfortunate pink muddy mess. I thought it was me, but after the effortlessness of Vega, I know it is Muse 🙈. I also got Sorcery lipstick and adore. Finally pulled trigger on Cinnabar and Affair, adore too.

I think cooler toned eyeshadows are so beautiful on you! Your costumised palette with the 2 warmer toned shadows from the Cinnabar palette, looks great also ( really your style) I would love to see how that turned out. Me personally I always pick more cooler toned shadows, but I always juse a warmer toned matte in the crease to ground everything. So I bought myself also some refills from the warmer palettes ( Cinnabar and Muse). Because I was thinking of this Vega palette that is somewhere on his way to me I was try to do some similar look with my VB smoky eye bricks in signature and tuxedo ( I like to juse them together) ( I like those also so much, I got them last year in the Holliday sale, and they are my most jused products) But I agree ( even I didn't got Vega just yet,) it looks like more versatile than VB eye bricks.

From the first review video I watched of her palettes I thought she should have done something different to every brand, something creative. Maybe putting 4 eyeshadows and letting the consumer pick the other two. I like the idea of starting with four shades of her choice and then letting me add two shades to make it more tailored to me without having to remove shades. I guess that’s too consumer minded and not too business focused.
