Could it be that the reason why we can’t interact directly and see alien beings is because they are made out of different ‘stuff’ (matter) that we are made of? A slighty different kind of matter which could explain why they have a different effect on gravity as compared to us humans. Which could explain why “ufos” could travel in such an unrealistic way. Gravity has a different effect on them. Just a wild thought. :-)

I'm not a physicist but here's my analogy of dark matter: Think about a piece of music...without the pause, without the silence between the notes, you would not have music. Playing one note continuously doesn't make a piece of music. It's the pauses between the notes that a musical piece comes into existence. You can't see or hear the pause but you hear the musical notes before and after the pauses. Dark matter seems to work in the same way...it exists between planets, solar systems, etc within the Universe allowing them to come into existence. Any thoughts or opinions on this?

Can't see it. Can't touch it. It doesn't interact with anything. But we know it's there because it influences the rotational speed of the galaxies. Is dark matter the most likely answer to the question? Or could it be some else. Energy stored in 'loops' at the planck length, bound by the galaxy's gravity well? Something to do with the 'lumpiness' of the continuum as evidenced by the formation of galaxies and the background noise. I don't claim to know the answer but I do know that it's likely to be something we don't know or understand today.

Dr Micheo talked about all dimensions being joined together at the start, but for some reason they seperated as time ? went on but we dont know why. The Indians past stories full of beings and talk about a different frequency. So over time as the universe started to settle so did the frequency of the universe change, This caused the dimensions to shift and seperate. All we got to do is find that key example - a big church bell is struck very hard causing the bell to vibrate very loudly, 4 minutes later it drops a few optives , 3.3 minutes later it drops a few more optives and the frequency starts getting lower..

There is a similarity between a physicists explaining dark matter and a pastor explaining God. They both make claims in their existence yet can't tangibly prove it. There is a level of faith required in the belief
@eemage94763 жыл бұрын
There is a difference: Physicists doesn't claim without proof, they present a theory to explain a phenomenon and are constantly modifying as the evidence is studied. Faith is not a scientific tool. Pastors on the other hand, claim without evidence the existence of God, and have used the same method for millennia to support what they consider a fact. Their tool is faith.

IMO semantics is a limiting factor when we are presented with the nomenclature of classical science. Terms like "Dark Matter" is a typical example of how traditional science pigeonholes the narrative by insisting that the word to describe what they have no way of seeing or calculating, other than theoretically, must be "matter". What if it isn't matter at all? What if its just beyond our understanding and nomenclature for know until such time that we change or at the very least modify our model and way of thinking of the known universe? Just saying.

Personally I think dark matter is a bandage over the wound of our ignorance -- a way of papering over the cracks in our understanding. Dr Randall's problem, in my opinion, is in thinking that matter gives rise to consciousness, when the opposite is the actual case. It has always seemed to me that scientists, (and others) use their intellects to produce a theory, and their emotions to defend it.

KZbin FRIENDS i HAVE A QUESTION: As a youtube physics enthusiast (an no more) I see this powerhouse of science popping up all the time. My question is 7 or so years ago the videos with her all talked about the possibility of extra dimensions that will be perhaps proved by the hadron collider, but now she's talking about different topics. does this mean the theory was disproved or?
@THE-VVATCHER6 жыл бұрын
She's beautiful and intelligent, but I take issue with her using the phrase "we believe." Science is not a collective consensus of belief. That is dogma. It doesn't matter how convincing that belief is, "we believe" has no part in science. Speak as an individual, and allow for other scientists in the community to form and express their own beliefs. Otherwise, you have a cult of people stuck on beliefs instead of individual scientists sensing the universe for/as themselves. "We believe" is a constraint on new thoughts. It's where science stops.
@lenfirewood40896 жыл бұрын
Yes very well observed and I totally agree with you "belief" without knowledge is pure speculation at best.

Consider the context of the statement. Like Fred mentioned, maybe another word is better but are we so below her intelligence that all that's left to do is pick out a word she chose. I get others who hear that word could go crazy with it but really, it's picky and I doubt they are looking for this conversation. Also, I imagine she knows what science is. I'm sure I've said words in front of an audience that if I words to go back and listen to it I would think ok that was dumb.
