I had a hard time fighting Caillou, the human banana, and Joeysworldtour. took me several tries because I was to dumb to analyze what each of them did.

The problem is not really coming from you. This boss is genuinely really tough, the first time I fought them I lost to them, but the second time I fought them I used a lot of perfumes and healing items, even then Alex barely had any HP left at the end of the fight and Joel was down. The unique tip I can give you is to use bulk food and boost your SP by using receding stance on weak opponents like Twisty before fighting Jesse Mack and his pals. Additionally, make sure your characters have reached level 9.

I think I remember taking out the laser shooter on the right first then the one on the left with a melee weapon. The healer in the middle then is easy to defeat once he has no one to heal

More fights need to be like Jesse's. A primal feeling of fighting for your life while outnumbered, with enemies that do different things but aren't immediately clear. It isn't clear who to target first in this fight. Cherry village was also one of the coolest areas after the franchise took over, the Mack clan always intrigued me the most.

The funniest thing about this fight is that the main big bad isn't even the biggest threat. You have to lose turns disarming the guy on the left and the guy on the right's finger beam will take taunt off Joel.

Disarming feels so useless in this game, it just wastes SP and the enemy you disarm will get their weapon back so easily

Honestly, I think the reason why Dog Song fits better is because you're fighting three enemies. Maybe switch Keeth's battle theme to a slowed down version of Daddy's Home? Although I'm not sure if that would fit either.
