Thank you for mentioning Asian/hooded eyes. It is very considerate of you and affirms why you have such a large international fan base. I am from the Philippines with yellow skin tone and hooded eyes and it is becomes quite difficult to adapt makeup tutorials, mostly of Caucasian women, to my features. I love how you always point out to your viewers to observe what looks good on us rather than just copying everything you do/use on your videos. Plus I loved that you use the UD palette which is quite affordable. Suffice to say, this is one of my most favourite videos of yours :) Stay grounded always :)

I agree, Lisa, with the name of this look. At 74, this is my long-time "look" process that elicits such disgusted comments as, "Oh, don't ask her (meaning me), she doesn't even have to WEAR makeup. What would SHE know?" Little do they know! lol! I do find that my lips benefit from Avon's "Beyond Color" Plumping Lipstick in "Mad For Mauve," which has a bluer (rather than pinkish-brown) tone than any other mauve I've found; making it most flattering for my sallow skin tones and teeth. It's also very creamy (both moisturizing & emollient, with Retinol), rather than shiny or frosted - two no-no's for my aging "visage." Now, I'm going to watch your "Glowing, Youthful Day Make-up Tutorial for Mature Skin" video. Thanks for your gentle, soothing, and light-handed approach in your videos. They're such a pleasure to listen to, as well as watch. (:

I feel like you are the only one on KZbin who has a modern take on make-up. Everything else I see, even by professional make-up artists, is always a full face of make-up with a strong base, eye and lip. Really it doesn't suit modern women with classic style. It's like the routine of primer, foundation, concealer and so on has become things you do without thinking about how much you put on or why. Thank you for sharing your talent Lisa - it inspires me to see a different and more reflected take on make-up!
