Just an idea because you said you didn’t want a coffee table... A “sofa table” behind the couch you could put the lamps on it and then you’d have a place to set a beverage. Absolutely love the lamps they look so amazing with your art work, you did an amazing job on picking them out absolutely love them! Also some little nesting side tables in gold to match the other accents that you have. Absolutely love your decor!!

it is so satisfying filling up those big containers and hearing the lids snap closed. West Elm has a set of round nesting tables that you could easily move around as needed instead of a coffee table. Your doing a great job decorating, be patient and it will all come together ❣️

What you are saying about design is so spot on for me. It takes some time living in your home to get the feel you want and love. I'm the same way! Always moving things, always finding things, always editing things. It's the fun of it! My hubs and I are building a new house for our next phase of being. We have a small summer home on a lake in Wisconsin and bought the land next door and have started the build process. I'm in the excitement/anxiety/love phase of deciding how the kitchen will be, the colors, the everything. It's been great watching your process. I am going to take some ideas from you as well! You don't have to buy everything new... Go on a Treasure Hunt at your Thrift Stores & Estate Sales & Auctions!! It is So Much Fun & In a lot of cases So Much Less Expensive!😘 Have you thought about Hanging those Lantern Lights? You could hang them off of Plant Brackets (Like you use outdoors). Try on each side of your new bookcase. The Silver Bull Horns Might Look good over the small access door. The Gold floor lamp shade Might need to be higher (not block your gorgeous Bardot Picture). Well... That's my 2 cents... Take it or leave it... But, I like to Help!! LOL XOXOXO

I agree the silver horn would go good above storage door....and put your two new lamps in your upcoming bookcase (stagger them on different shelves). That way it puts light on that side of the wall. MANY BLESSINGS !!!!

Just watched your video and thought of something that might work for your KZbin lifestyle. Have you thought about have a large mood/inspiration bulletin board up on one of your walls. A good way to organize your busy life with inspirations and upcoming topics to talk about. A great way to keep organized at a glance. Say your upcoming colabs, makeup ideas, outfit inspirations, etc. Also you could put a nice tray on one of those poufs for coffee. Enjoying watching your house coming together

Hey Lisa, over couch would be a perfect place for staggered shelves on each side of the pictures and across the top. It would be a great spot to showcase all your cameras. You could also frame a few of your favorite style magazine front covers in a few areas on the shelves! Just a thought and store the magazines. Just a thought❤

Why not put a narrow type accent runner table designed for behind the sofa. So that you can put candles and some small decors on it. I would just put candles 🕯 and a tall accent plants on the corner by that door. I feel like the door there takes away the appeal of sofa area. Also, if the table has a shelf under, you can actually get a basket to store your blankets , shawl, pillows..etc When you want to switch things up. Unless you use that little door to store your things to keep the clutter out. Something like that. I absolutely love your little office. Such a nice relaxing and cozy space. If that were my office, I would have a little barista built in there. This girl is a die hard coffee drinker. Can’t work unless I have my coffee by my side. And of course Diet Coke! Ha 🥰 as for throws, the ones with color on the sofa and the other one with tassels on the chair 🪑 you’ll have both bases covered.

Hey Lisa 👋 I'd definitely swap those pink pouffs out, they are really pretty but the pink is too soft for that area. I think the silver bull thingy might look nice above Bridget & Bruce . Oh and the throw with the colours looks nicer than the plain one. The teal cushion is pretty, but not sure about the style. Hope your well hun xxx

Lisa, maybe the decorator could set you up a staging area with baskets in that vacant space or in a cabinet for future reviews items or videos ideas. When your products start coming in drop them in the basket to collect them all in one place then when everything has arrived pull the basket out to work with the items. I freaking love those lantern lamps that you had. I think they do go perfect in that room. Is there room to put a sofa table behind your sofa? You can use that to put candles and possibly the Lantern lights.. A nice long one that will cover the back of the sofa. Your house is coming along love it.💜💜

I love Skillshare! And I love how your new home is coming together. Its actually a blessing that its taking a bit as it forces one to slow down and live in the space a bit first. I like both throws on your white sofa but the solid one looks softer and better to me. What if you got a tray for one of the poufs so you or John could use it as a place to set a drink or cup. Your style is definitely modern not transitional. I'm not seeing any classical elements. I suggest adding more warmth and some vintage antique pieces. This mix would then be more modern transitional. I'm neoclassical French with a few modern pieces for personality and the unexpected. Makes for a interesting unique look! Good luck!

Lisa I have to agree with you why do young girls have to talk fast. I get that you found the mechanism which slows her down but I went to go get my new iPhone 13 from T-Mobile and the young girls were trying to help me with all the settings and they were talking so fast that I just couldn’t keep up with all the changes and that’s already a difficult thing trying to learn the new curve on an iPhone 13. I’m not so sure I like my iPhone 13 but the girl did slow down ultimately after several requests. Plus I’m at Court Reporter. I can’t imagine taking her down on my court Reporting machine. I have a splitting headache by the time I was done pulling my hair out
