I've personally figured out that mechanic jobs involve Gathering Resources as well as smelting!

i use lynx as my explorer.. she survive mostly every fight( almost)

Many thanks for sharing. Not sure what's the best job for mechanic; however Lynx (By the way, I thought was a female cat..didn't know is a robot lol) did a great job cutting wood. I look forward to the video and I hope all is well.

Lynx is a girl wearing a cat tech suit. She was introduced in Chapter 1 Season 7 Battle Pass. We saw she was working for Ghost in Chapter 2.
