Prosecutor Jerry Blackwell delivered a powerful rebuttal during closing arguments in Derek Chauvin’s murder trial for the police killing of George Floyd. ⁣

“You were told that Mr. Floyd died because his heart was too big ... and now having seen all the evidence, having heard all the evidence, you know the truth,” Blackwell told the jurors. “And the truth of the matter is that the reason George Floyd is dead is because Mr. Chauvin's heart was too small.”⁣

Be cannot justify the death of Mr. Floyd but what we can put in to question is the santification of a convicted criminal. Mr. Floyd was a drug addict, a criminal and was resisting arrest while the policeman found guilty was doing his job and sadly spent more force than Mr. Floyd could take due to the later drug addiction. With powerful words like that any jury will find a defendant guilty that's almost as good as the OJ verdict matter of fact just as equal when Johnny Cochran said what he said man we're going to remember this one for the next 500 years what it called Mr Blackwell gladly appreciated.

Police must be held accountable for repeated incidence of the use of excessive force. Bad cops with multiple complains against them must be weeded out and NEVER employed in law enforcement again before they kill or maim people. It is just friggin' common sense. Police unions must stand aside if they are not willing to help local officials weed out bad cops.

"His heart was too small" Wow, thats deep and all, but the maneuver he used was not the most brutal or dangerous the officer was allowed to use to restrict him, so he purposefully tried being softer on him
