Gnezdo Orlovo was a Serbian contestant song for Eurovision. It lost by another song named Ramonda, which is great, too. Both songs have that Serbian spirit, but Gnezdo Orlovo is a type of song that gives us, Serbs, a special energy. It's ethno/pop song, I'd say. That ethno part is giving you that warrior type of energy. It gives us all, too. We are a small, warrior nation in East Balkan. Never led wars of conquest, always defended ourselves from both the East and the West. And it is known that nations that only defended themselves have courage, strength and wisdom, while those attacking have only strength.

From Time To Time (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S_Vremena_Na_Vreme ) is another classical, legendary Serbian band. They had a gazillion hits. Not a gazillion songs, but every song they wrote was a big hit. They are generally thought to sound better at live concerts than in studio recordings. Tajči, pronounced something like Thai-chi. 😉 In 1989. Yugoslavia won the Eurosong. The song's name was Rock me, baby, by a pop-rock group Riva, from Split, Croatia. In 1990., the Eurovision contest was held in Zagreb, Tajči was the singer for, then still, Yugoslavia, with the song you heard in this video. She moved away to the USA, I think she sang some church music there, but comes to visit from time to time, and then we remember her other songs. 🤣
