this was the first game i ever completed and i was amazed at its open world environment and gameplay that incorporated puzzle solving and action. truly ahead of its time. i especially enjoyed periods of peace where i could fully explore the surroundings whilst listening to the music that was calming and is now one of my nostalgic go-to's

Nice to see such an old video about Little Big Adventure 2. I never thought about it, but yeah, it must have been one of the first Adventure Games with an open world. So cute home proud he is for inventing map markers. Such a lovely game. I would have been so sad as a kid when people would have told me that even 25 years later, there are not many good games like this.

"OMG, they used BASIC" it's not uncommon to use something like basic for scripting, because it's intended to be used by game designers, not programmers, so it needs to be simple to use.
