I love this type of stitching. My sister and I started calling this 'junking up' because one day as I was explaining it to her I couldn't think of the word embellishments or more specifically I was fumbling for the old fashioned word 'findings'. She helpfully suggested junk as the missing word. It stuck with us and became one of our most cherished shopping goals. Find the right junk for the project. While it sounds disparaging, to us, it was not. Sister has passed now, but I know she would love your videos as much as I do. Peace be with you. Thank you for sharing.

I use Coats and Clark Mercerized Cotton # T39 (for machine stitching}. for slow stitching I use cotton embroidery floss, 6 strand, usually DMC. Thanks for watching Kathy!
