What a beautiful work of art. Thank you for sharing your Peter Rabbit story, I’m sure it’s bittersweet. I love the way you’ve incorporated other pieces of work and you’ve given me lots of ideas. I’m in a plaster cast as I broke my ankle so I can’t get to my fabrics but when I do… I have a few pieces I’m trying to do for Rachel’s stitch book but I’m late to the party. I’m always late to every party though. Thank you for all your beautiful stitching and for sharing so generously. Love from England x

Thank you, thank you! I have a piece of cross stitch (Alice holding the pig baby) that I've had for years (did it when I was 45, I'm now 78). I also have work done by grandmothers, aunts, mothers, etc. I like to go to thrift shops and buy up all the hand work I can find. Its getting very scarce. Now I see where I can combine my bits and pieces to make something truly unique. So this was wonderful to come across.

i absolutely love your channel, you are so talented and inspiring. I am currently trying to plan a quilt for my granddaughter in Australia. I fell in love with the slow stitch technique thanks to you and the Roxy journal of stitchery, but my eyes struggle with cross-stitch so Im trying to find ways to embroider Beatrix Potter characters, this is a beautiful piece and so beautiful. I hope I can make a quilt with so much love in it. Thank you for sharing. Gx

I've done machine embroidery that never got finished and I am trying to incorporate some into new pieces. Slow stitching is new to me after years of no handwork. I totally agree with you that this is a great way to use needlework that is just sitting in a cupboard. I don't have a lot of pieces and it's hard for me to cut into them but I don't have anyone to pass them onto so having them sit hidden in a box is silly. At least this way I can use them in a way that I can touch them and see and enjoy them. I even have a bit of satin from my grandma's wedding dress (1915) which takes the needle and thread so nicely.

When I heard the Roxy Creations announcement of Volume 4 I thought of this Peter Rabbit panel. I don't think I would be alone enjoying having you keep Peter in the wings during the next volume and as you decide where you will tackle each prompt, do a review of this piece and determine if it already contains the prompt or if the prompt is suitable for a new addition. The panel is already a treasure trove and includes several of your grandmother's pieces. As a bonus, it's essentially a finished mood board!
