Hard to beat Little Feat. Such a great band and Lowell George was one of the best. RIP.

I’m 70, remember listening to Little Feat in the 1970’s. Love this song, nothing better to hear late on a party night

I am the same age. I had their album. I saw them live and they were amazing. The Tower Power of Horns was with them.

One forgets, over time, how Frightfully talented each person was in this band. Bill Payne is, arguably, one of The top keyboard players in rock, Richie Hayward while not only an Incredible drummer provided amazing high harmonies. The addition of Ken Gradney and Sam Clayton gave that FUNK. I Love Paul Barerre and especially Lowell. Thank you to whoever posted this GEM. I agree with Steve Conway: About time someone had a camera crew to capture this era. RIP Lowell and Richie.

Yes indeed what a wonderful group of players. I could not agree more about Bill Payne and Richie Hayward who was my favorite rock drummer who not only had great time but just had a feel that can't be described with words. Of course Lowell deserves every accolade that he has received. Every player was a perfect fit.I hope young players today take the time to listen and understand what Little Feat was about. I was so lucky to have seen then back during the Waiting for Columbus tour and then many times since then after Lowell passed away.Thank god for youtube

My only dispute your comment, is that I'd say Melvin Seals from the Jerry Garcia Band is a better Key player, However only by a slim margin haha. This song is a classic in the best possible way.

I'm a huge TOP fan and discovered Feat through their discography. And I'm glad I did. Their opening lick in this song is absolute napalm! But besides the point, what a deep song, sick groove, and Lowell just laying down gold! What badasses he and Richie Hayward were.

Lowell George has so much style and finesse. Such a talent. He truly had it all, talent, slide guitar wizardry, style, brains and humour. Plus he was definitely handsome.

I was at this show; one of the greatest nights of my life. Still sends a shiver down my spine. Lowell was in fact absent for much of the night... But as an earlier poster nailed it "Ritchie Hayward' - this video confirms my view that he was the greatest powerhouse rock drummer of all time.

Bass line by Ken Gradney, the same call/ response figure over two bars, the whole song...and it is perfect. You could hang the World off that groove.

Still gives me chills listening to these guys. All great musicians sometimes it is easy to overlook just how great a bassplayer Kenny Gradney is. . . There is a way that he just sticks the notes, leans over them and delivers the whole phrase that is just unbelievable. . Really get a sense of it at the end when it is just the three of them playing. . . . Not an ounce of fat on what he plays every note every phrase just right in the pocket.
