something i noted is that tanya can die two different ways in the house fire. either she gets hanged or burnt alive depending on what option you give anthony. this will determine if tabitha gets hung or burnt alive in the witch trials, thus altering the look of taylor's demon. the demon will either be floating while hung on a rope or it will have a tree bark on its back while looking burnt

So we were hallucinating Daniel John Taylor and angela… that was crazy I just completed the game and I am shook

I think they were real and just from the future. Just as when they travelled back in time and went to the witch trial era, only one person could actually see and hear them. To everyone else, the person perceiving them looked crazy. Andrew was the only one who could see Daniel, John, Taylor, and Angela. But it wasn’t because they were all a hallucination, it was because they were in the past. So to Vince and the officer, Andrew did look crazy. But everyone and the demons were real.

I really enjoyed this game. The ending surprised me but I did get the good ending by saving the little girl.

I totally didnt trust the priest but at the same time i was confused by how they went from “GOTTA STOP MARY” suddenly to “jk its the priest not mary” Like i missed the part where they got the evidence to formulate that idea

@@Eco19there’s many pieces of evidence that prove it was the priest but half the group never sees them and the half that does never brings it up. But the most notable one would’ve been the Bible you find that belongs to the priest, which later proves Mary innocent.

There's clues where as your going along how Carver the priest in different generations was always. Bad person whoever his type of character was, also see a poster of him trying to run for Mayor, and letters of compliants from parents on how his doing some kind of cult thing with the kids

@@gizel4376 Yeah, I think this is why the factory closure is in there. Dad could possibly be drinking just because he is an idiot. IRL this happened all over the globe. There are many towns which had some industry where the majority of the population worked and after that industry moves out of the town those people move as well because there was no occupation in town afterwards.

what about the ending where VINCE calls Anthony a murderer? Who is he getting arrested for kiling? those deaths of his family has been a cold case for some time

Vince thinks Anthony murdered his family because he was seen holding matches when he was outside of the house. He just believed the rumours were true.

Two questions Did Anthony/Andrew cause the fire? What did the priest do to the girl ?

1:he didn't necessarily cause the fire he started the stove for tea and then his sister put her doll there to start the fire because she was being control by a demon then the fire broke out 2:the priest was controlling the girl to make up lies on the other people of "witch craft" which led to their execution im guessing the point of showing that was megan (the sister) caused the fire that ultimately killed everyone so it was the girl fault everyone was dying in the 1700

@@krunoslavkovacec1842there was no demon in the prolouge. Megan saw the priest (not in the 17 century one) as a demon, and the priest was convincing her that her family is bad. So she did that

I think the priest was a pedophile who abused the little girl, which would explain why he would try to get rid of all her family and the man who adopted her (basically everyone she could've confessed to) and was trying to get custody of her. Also they kept bringing up how they had one on one meetings which she was not allowed to tell others what happened there.

I know I'm late.. but I have a question. Megan is being constantly abused by Carson, so she sees him as a demon. But who or what do you think she was talking to all the time at home? In the curator's cut, Tanya hears her talking to someone so she asks who.. and Megan responds that it's someone who cares about her enough to listen and pay attention to her. But if it's the priest she was drawing on her wall and papers, she sees him as an evil person she can't trust; so it wouldn't be him she thinking she was talking to, right? Is it possible that she was so out of hope that she became tempted by demons? Or could it be a poltergeist? Because they specifically latch onto children so they can be more powerfull... and if that's the case, that could explain why the ladder Dennis was standing on moved after she walked away, and why the door shut on Tanya without Megan even moving. I got this idea from Fantastic Beasts because of the obscurial. It's just a theory, but I'd love to hear your opinion.

Two years late, but I feel like the dark visage she talks too is her minds manifestation of the priest. It’s grim but I think she was being SA’d by the priest and things that often come along with that are gifts and praise and attention to confuse the victim. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was both very scared, and very confused about the priest. He spent a lot of one-on-one time with her and I think that’s who she’s was talking to, a manifestation of those feelings.

@@wikileigha7077I don't think the priest assaulted her. There's a newspaper in the game who talks about him conducting "satanic masses" with the children under his care. Probably traumatized many of them with vile forms of satanism.

@@wikileigha7077 I agree, the Priest has a very creepy undertone. The attendance issues sold it for me. While a dysfunctional family, I believe the mom was genuinely trying to help her family and trusted the wrong outside source.

Just finished my game and had this ending and it blew my mind. 10/10 twist and scenario even if i wa ted to take the horror with a grain of salt I still managed to be terrified some times

Just got done playing the game on my Xbox series x it scared the crap out of me. But the ending with the bus driver and everything was very confusing along with everything else KZbin my first playthrough thank you for help clearing it up

Just finished the game. Idk if I did it right but everyone died except Andrew lol. The little girl was saved though I had them burn the doll

The good ending includes you unlocking everyone’s secret personality traits and then you proving it was the priest who was guilty. You then walk out of the building to the diner with everyone still alive and then the bus driver realising he was Andrew basically conquering his demons of the past.

Because he grew up in Little Hope which had a withc hunt museum were you can see all the deaths portrayed? Also he was reading a book about it before the crash.
