My issue is that a lot of the diary isn't how children think, it is how some adults think children think. Little Misfortune is so adorable, even though her situation is incredibly messed up. It's sad to watch... But I do think I'll like this more than Fran Bow. Also, think it's cute how she says "thank you" every time the narrator compliments her. Guess she doesn't get compliments often. :( Fully expecting things to just get bad from here, and that's going to be really depressing.

Reading the signs and seeing that this takes place in sweden makes me very happy. It feels nice to know people know about your home country. And for the people who don’t read swedish, the first sign at the lake said basically ”help nature and don’t leave trash behind” and the blue ”Polis” tape just means police (obviously) Edit: the sign in the classroom says ”Our planet” ”Stopp!
