@@sky-oq5mr Tarsier studios disagrees with this. They have made it very clear that reanimal is a new IP. They intentionally left the little nightmares series to bandai namco and are liking what supermassive are doing with little nightmares 3. This type of comment is not just rude, but actually disrespectful to both supermassive games and tarsier studios. On another note, reanimal does not seem more similar to little nightmares than little nightmares 3, that's straight up objectively incorrect. Some people who worked on little nightmares 2 are working on little nightmares 3 aswell.

Pretty surprised there’s no local co-op when it’s being developed by Supermassive Games, the dev studio that makes tons of local co-op games. It would be a huge selling point for a ton of people. I’ll probably buy this game even without the feature but adding local co-op would be a 100% buy easily

beacuse it wouldn't work. The game would then have to have a splitscreen, which would not work in a game like little nightmares. Or both characters are visible on the same screen, but what about when Low and Alone get separated during puzzles, which we've seen happen? It just wouldn't really work. Supermassive also wanted to make local co-op work, and they tried it, but didn't manage to make it work.

All the game's stories are self contained and do not directly follow into one another. You can absolutely not play any of the previous games, pick up one in the series, and get the gist of what the series is about. I'm willing to even bet that most people in the fan base these days played the second game first over the original Little Nightmares given how huge that game was when it came out.
