Yeah man, hold your dad close, he's not done teaching you things to this day. My dad taught me how to deal with under handed bar managers to completely collect my money at the end of the night. My dad taught me how its easier to quit a band and join another one rather than fight over personal tastes. My dad also taught me: " if these things about me that you don't like, then don't do it, do something else." My dad lived hard, worked hard, played hard and paid the price, but didn't regret much. I lost my dad 5 years ago, but I'm just a little older than you, we live in the same state, and state of mind--I just gave up on the business this year--I'll get back to playing soon. Peace be with you

If John Mayer came out in the 70s he would just be one of many, but since there are so few blues rockers in the spotlight, he’s a big deal. But he couldn’t come out in the 70s, because he owes all of his licks to songs of that era. (60s,70s,80s) It would be a sonic time warp. We’re just grateful that SOMEONE is playing the guitar.

Watching your dad play made me smile and made be cry at the same time, since my dad is no longer around. lmao yeah I came here to say this, he's not an awful guitarist. I've always maintained that Bizkit are a group of competent musicians stuck with a god awful frontman, and that any music of worth suffers from its association with Durst. I do really enjoy Wes' other work (particularly Black Light Burns)

You can say the 12 Days of Christmas could be an allegory for literally anything that has 1 of something, 2 of something, and so on; religion or no religion.

Is he being serious about Tremonti? Guys a phenomenal guitar player has even won Guitar Players guitarist of the year twice, is respected by numerous other musicians (and Beato BTW), and Alter Bridge is a great band. His Tremonti band makes good and interesting music as well.

Imagine Dragons is so bad that Pat can't handle it long enough to do a video😆😆😆. And you're right about the twelve days of Christmas, the song goes totally off the rails around number 8 or so. PS: Kudos for not buying it. And your dad's playing is incredible, love it.

Always funny to hear about a famous "gifted" artist... and then you realize there are millions of awesome artists that no one will ever see or hear who are just as good, if not better. Thanks for letting us hear your dad's awesome playing. A level of effortless shred that makes you feel good when you hear it. Hope that makes sense. Happy Merry.
