his first 2 what makes this song stinks were quite a bit meaner but they were directed at Kryptonite by 3DD and All Summer Long by Kid Rock, both famously overplayed and hated songs, All Summer Long also being a total ripoff and Kid Rock being a piece of shit human. the third one was Weezer, so he had to reckon with shitting on one of his favorite bands and got a bit lighter overall.

Damn, that dude at the end fuckin murdered it. Good on him for giving his all to a cover of a parody song. I hope he ironically gets famous for how much it actually slaps.

That is the best Ted impression I’ve ever heard. Hands down.

That final cover is incredible. 😂 What a cool community. I'm just getting into playing the guitar so this is a lot of fun to see amateurs having so much fun with it. ❤

And this is why I support my man Pat on Patreon: it's not about quantity, but the quality of his videos.

Just big time comedy gold here, Pat! Love the animation of Tommy Turtle with the "Beato Bank" ATM machine in the background.

I heard that abomination when it 'dropped' and I am 100% happy to say that cover of Dead Man's Trail completely erased it from my conscious. I've listened to the original more times than I would care to admit and that guy captured the lightning. Well done Pat for passing it on.

I love the old video footage with the stage I set-up, I'd purge working for Nickelback from my mind. They had to comp beer to a crowd, so your campus tour got that part right about what gets out a Nickelback crowd.

Is there anyone better than Pat on KZbin? Seriously I’m wondering. Bc I’m sure he’s down to step up. What’s funny is this is the best song Pat has dissected.

I feel like they almost reclaimed the Butt Rock crown from Theory of a Dead Man with this one. The chorus is really top notch song craft: Chad leans in heavily on the "I" vowel sound for several lines and then crash lands onto shit island with "Quin-TUNnnnn!" It's like if Bob Dylan suddenly had a stroke before the final line of the chorus of Tangled Up in Blue.

Tommy turtle looks exactly like a guy I work with. Dude constantly wears under armor when he has no reason to. Oakleys, constantly wears sleeveless shirts, backwards hats, goatee and has a drinking problem. Much love Pat for making me laugh.

This channel is one of the reasons I still have faith in humanity. Pat, I teach middle school music and I WISH I could show them all of this. But I can't, so I just steal some great lines, add some tensions, and coach the next generation about shitty pop songs. haha. ROCK ON.
