even more applicable at the moment-even though it's been happening for a long time.

much as I love George Carlin's social critique, his ''little moments'' segment is the one that made the laugh the most out of anything he's done

I've always thought the alternate edit of this special should have been the one they used for the official release. He's much more animated, entertaining, and funny in the other version
@OfficialGeorgeCarlin10 сағат бұрын
What is the alternate edit? Where does that live?
@BittersweetDuality10 сағат бұрын
@@OfficialGeorgeCarlinI guess "alternate edit" isn't the correct way to put it. More like several separate clips that make up the majority of the bits in this special, that I'm guessing were included as bonus features on a DVD release from back in the day or something. If I recall correctly there are alternate takes of every part of the special except for the bit on anorexics. They're the versions on the "Jammin' in New York (1992)" playlist on the KZbin channel CarlinFan. I don't know if any of them exist in 1080p

Politicians get support from both the poor and the rich by simply promising to protect one from the other.

George Carlin. He really was a visionary. A prophet, even. But he wasn't a comedian. He just said he was a comedian so he can get on stage, grab a mic, and educate the masses while wrapping it up in a nice funny package guaranteed to make them laugh. Those weren't jokes. It was the truth. Told in a comedic way. If he went about preaching the truth like JFK JR, DR. MLK JR, Malcom X, Jesus Christ, etc. He would've killed off just like they were. But George wasn't just intelligent. He was wise, too. Intelligence is leading from your mistakes. Wisdom is learning from mistakes made by other people. George used his wisdom to get the truth out for decades under the guise of comedy. It's all in the name of comedy. No harm, no foul, no mysterious death. Long happy life. Thank u, George. For everything

You all love him so much then why did you vote for Biden and or Harris? The party of conformity or be exiled.
@BigAl455Сағат бұрын
Ok, so now you all can explain to your children, how you voted for a convicted sexual assaulter, convicted racist, convicted fraudster, con-man, serial adulterer, pathological liar, sociopath, traitor to the United States, why should anyone care about anything you have to say, about anything, ever? Here’s what his Vice President said about him: These are some past comments of JDVance: "I didn't vote for Trump because I can't stomach Trump, I think that he is really outrageous & offensive" "You're an idiot if you voted for Trump" "I find him reprehensible" "My god what an idiot" "Trump is a terrible candidate" "I'm a never Trump guy, I never liked him" "I might have to hold my nose and vote for Hillary Clinton" “I think that he’s noxious and is leading the white working class to a very dark place." "Definitely some people who voted for Trump were racists, and they voted for him for racist reasons." Vance once questioned whether Trump could be “America’s Hitler”

Yeah, how dare we expect the government do things to help us with the tax money we send them, instead of only helping the millionaires, billionaires, and their corporate donors. So you're ok with tax breaks for the 1% and subsidizes to billion dollar corporations, which add trillions to the debt? But we can't afford food stamps for the poor, help working families with child care, medical research, affordable health care for Americans.......

Hypocrite...What was George Carlin's net worth? George Carlin was an American comedian, actor and social critic who had a net worth of $10 million at the time of his death. REALLY!!!

So what, a successful person can't talk about the issues with this country? Only someone who is poor can talk about problems here?
