Exactly. My pigs did this to my 1 year old niece and she figured out how to open the treat bags for them. They get foods, she gets to watch them without them running away. Win- win.

My piggies do the same thing to my mom. Whenever she comes down the stairs, there is mass excitement and begging, especially on Saturday. Saturday is strawberry and radish tops day. And they KNOW.

My moms female is so obsessed with my dad, she will recognize the way the floor creaks. If it's someone else, she might wheek, but it it's him, she will escalate and scream for his attention. When she won't calm down, we will tell my dad that he should check in with "his" guinea pig. :D Thanks for the vegetable munching video, work is annoying right now and the munching really calmed me down :)

Had them as pets when young, always liked them. Switched to the housecat, less cleaning and more interactive, but nothing wrong with them, they can hear a refrigerator door real well.
