I like the quote, "Rushing is another form of going nowhere." I think that's from the workbook on mindfulness called 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels, which I liked. We tend to focus way too much on goals and results, wanting to get there fast...while neglecting the present moment and building solid habits to get there.

Its always best to meditate BEFORE the coffee. It makes the mind race. From caffeine and blocking B1. So meditate THEN Coffee! Its actually best to drink coffee after weve been awake for 3 hours. When we first wake up we naturally produce cortisol. It peaks at 45 minutes after we first wake up. If we drink coffee as soon as we wake up this cortisol bump can kick in at the same time as the caffeine. Making us extra jittery or anxious! Just sharing what Ive learned in my experience. Have a great day!

Hi can you tell me what if you fall in move with the habit like reading and one day you plan to read for more than 1 hour instead of maybe 150 seconds. I feel that hasn't worked for me but still its tempting. Should we stick to the rule relentlessly or should we be a bit flexible

How can I apply this for workout? Day 1,10 pushups Day 2, 10.1 pushups? please help
@shiro2078
@shiro2078 9 ай бұрын
I'd say rather than 1% every day, make it 1 more push up every week. The goal is to make it seem easy and create consistency for good habits to consolidate. By the end of the year, you will be doing 62 push ups a day.
