I've had a very stressful week , so I'm spending some time now after work to re watch some of your older videos that i haven't watched in a while. Just in case you needed to hear this today, you bless us all with your content. I am very grateful for your videos. You may not realize the impact you have on others. Just know , you have brought me out of some dark times. The Word followed by Christian youtubers like yourself have turned many a day around for me. Your videos have brought me such peace when I needed it most. May God continue to bless you as you bless us. Thank you

I enjoyed this so much as I am vicariously living through you all at the moment in certain ways. My hubs and I hope to purchase a home and have a (mini)-homesteading life near the mountains of NC. We share so many core values. Love u all. It still perplexes me why some feel the need to dislike these videos--does one really not have anything more worthwhile to do than click "dislike" on someone's video??--why not do something or watch something you DO like??! Pretty crazy to see any dislikes here...really says something abt the individual and that (s)he is in desperate need of prayer. ...as we all are I suppose..this area in this case is more evident than others perhaps.

they actually disliked it before it even went public lol... but anyway thanks so much for sharing that.. the mountains of NC is homestead goals!

hello Little House on The Mountain, you were in my "suggested to watch feed" for the first time. this is the first video i watched, and my eye liked the menorah while you lit your lamp. i became excited and asked myself "oh wow is she Jewish?!". then to hear the scripture from the New Testament! So then I subscribed. Praise The Lord. we are sisters in Yeshua , so lovely to meet you.

I look forward to notifications that you've posted something. The last few have been "quiet" and tranquil, but there's a tinge of sadness in them that kinda makes me come away a little sad. Am I makin' things up? lol (I can be good for that, ya know ... lol) I mean, there would certainly not be any judgment here. I'm not the slightest bit scared of the latest c-word (I'm not saying it's not a thing-- just that I'm truly not scared of it), BUT I do find myself having to fight HARD to beat back the discouragement I feel about how life and people are changing all around me in the midst of and in response to all this. It's unbearable. It's grim and hopeless and resigned and nonsensical and suffocating. On one hand, I'd like to be out of the house more ... on the other hand, home is the only place that makes sense! lol (and brings peace) I described it today to friends and family this way: "Venturing out into the world these days makes me feel the way I did when a neighborhood kid or schoolmate came up with a stupid game and forced me to play along." Anyway, sis (and bro James) ... we love you. In that message to friends and family that I referenced above, I ended it with this and would like to share with all you beloved and dear ones that we might be encouraged in counting all we've gained rather than what we've lost/are losing presently ... " 'I am not worthy of the LEAST of ALL the MERCIES and of ALL the TRUTH which You have shown Your servant'; for I was far off, and You drew me near by Your Son; I knew You not, and through faithful servants, You brought me Your revealed Word; I was guilty, and by the Blood of the Lamb, You declare me innocent; I was a slave to sin, but by Your Set-Apart Spirit, You make me a slave to righteousness-- and, if ALL that weren't enough (surely!, it is), You give me coffee!" lol (Inspired by Gen 32:10) Be encouraged Mispachah, He is good and oh so faithful ...

Your husband is a VERY lucky man :D "Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her." Proverbs 31 KJV, Your husband literally scored the lottery when God destined you two to be! Wonderful content, gr8 ministry? Your Ministry isn't KJV only so i can't behind it really... and the Torah aspects and judeo customs have upset me in a few of your videos... I say this out of respect and with honesty, I feel that the new testament church is not supposed to be rooted in Jewish tradition, while many Jews did convert to Christianity: there were certain aspects of their culture they had to drop in order to conform to being a follower of Christ, things such as animal sacrifice and the belief that keeping the law gets you to salvation. "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." -Romans 10:4 | KJV Christ paid the price, there is nothing we can do to achieve salvation by our own works. It is by the blood of Christ. I am not sure where your ministry stands on that, or if you emphasize that the Torah has more value then the new testament (I truly hope not)... Neither do I know what Jewish customs you stand behind. I am not a Jew and was not born a Jew, so I will not adhere to Jewish tradition or culture. I'm a Gentile saved by grace, through faith: Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV. I will not take on Jewish culture or tradition EVER, I don't need to pretend. God saves Gentile, Greek and Jew alike and their culture and traditions have no part in the glory of what Christ did on the cross. I would like to learn more about your ministry, is it an evangelical ministry or a movement? like trying to spread support for your perspective on faith? if you could explain more of your core beliefs, and why you use The Bible version you use. I know that is a lot to ask but I am sure people would like to know why you believe what you believe. Mayb a future video idea? I'm not trying to be or sound rude at all! thanks for your consideration! New Man
@LittleHouseOnTheMountain4 жыл бұрын
Thank you sir firstly for the compliment and for taking the time to watch the video and share your thoughts. I would like you to know that we agree with you that our faith should not be rooted in Jewish tradition but always be rooted in the whole of scripture walking closely in the footsteps of Christ as children of God grafted into the nation of Israel. We do not seek Jewish tradition but we do seek to walk like Jesus and like children of the covenant of His Word and Spirit. We also fully agree that salvation comes by God's grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ. We obey His commandments because they are good and holy and because we love Him. We do have a full belief statement on the homepage of the ministry website. Philiaministries.org Have a lovely day brother. -Lea

Little House On The Mountain Thank you for your thoughtful response :) I read a lot of your website over and appreciate how you had scriptures lined up. I was confused some when I stumbled upon your ministry channel and wasn’t sure if it was some Neo-Jewish movement. It certainly isn’t :) your testimony was very powerful, going from fashion model to finding God’s grace and mercy :) I understand how loss can actually edge us to God, and I’m blessed my losses have actually been victories for the kingdom. God is always watching
