#1 is ingenious! I never would have thought that one! I knew about #2-4 and have utilized #4 a lot lately. #5 is new to me! Now that just blew my mind and opened up the possibilities to less frogging! Lol! Thank you for sharing!

I made a yarn bowl out of a ice cream bucket. It works great and can hold 3-4 balls of yarn. I can email you the pictures of you like.

And if your beginning tail isn't long enough and you don't have a problem with knots, you can just add more yarn to the beginning with a magic knot

I turned an old tin can into a crochet hook holder for all my metal hooks added a hair tie around it for my stitch markers

I use one of my son's toys as a yarn holder since it has a piece I can thread the yarn through and hold it in place. The stacking cups work as yarn holders as well since they come in a variety of sizes.

I've recently made a decision to not do foundation chains from now on (unless pattern requires chains to work), and now I'll do a foundation single or double. Learned how to do it from your channel and will not turn back. And I may use trick 1 but a longer chain to make something I can wear around my neck, I absolutely hate having things on my wrists.
