this album was such a game-changer for their career, black magic literally saved them, they were proving the world they weren't going anywhere and that they're here to stay. old-school pop influenced songs like love me like you, weird people, a.d.i.d.a.s., omg all of them are gems, 2 INCREDIBLE acapella tracks the end and the beginning, such an anthem like secret love song, and probably the best song in their career lightning, actually one of the best songs EVER. what an amazing album and era, and this was the first album i've ever heard by them 😭😭 thanks to get weird i'm a mixer 6 years later. love you forever girls 💖💖💖

@@satarupagingerkolay syco was about to drop them if they didn't have another hit like they had with wings, they were so stressed working hard, and as they said here, they scrapped the original LM3 they created before GW because the label hated it. if it wasn't for black magic they probably would've been fired and maybe there was no little mix today

I literally cried listening to SLS for the first time . Especially when part 2 came out and I felt like it just hit home to so many ppl especially of the LGBTQIA+ community or anyone who was made to feel ashamed or wrong about the person they fell in love with. It is really a masterpiece And to know that LM was there to support in the most authentic way really meant a lot 💓🌈

The experimental era of LM! They tried so many sounds and styles with this album in order to gain the confidence and momentum for what was to come next! So many freaking bops and the ballads on this album is in my opinion the best. LM5 does come close in terms of ballads. Thank you for giving us Get Weird Little Mix!

I see only positive comments here but does anyone else remember what a negative experience this was for them? They went to deliver the album, there was a release date and all, but then they had to start all over again, and there were rumors they did it because the album they previously made wasn't approved by management? But then Get Weird came out and sales were bad? At this time management was pushing aggressively to make them famous in the US, you can clearly tell that era felt completely forced, and remember how there was this huge pressure of either they explode in the US right now or they'll never make it? Management booked this way over the top USA tour, which was done only with One Direction, so obviously ticket sales failed and they had to cancel it, and then the media was already like "why Little Mix failed" "why Little Mix can't break the USA". Then Glory Days came along soon after with them claiming it felt more organic and real to them, and you can literally pinpoint a change of strategy. I'm glad they left their management/PR team cause Modest! Management was just terrible.
