There is a fanfic where Twilight is a changeling called Change and in one of the chapters Twilight has Discord fix the library and he takes it upon himself to “improve” it. It wasn’t destroyed by Tirek in the fanfic though. The Change series is one of my favorite MLP fanfic series.

In Twilight's Kingdom, Twilight blew the door off before the explosion, and once we saw the aftermath of the explosion, not only was the door still gone, but the plant on the right side of the library was destroyed by the explosion, and in this episode at 2:44, the library has the door on the entrance and the plant on the right side

Also the scene with spike eating pancakes. The plate has four pancakes spike takes two and the camera cuts away.
