❤Great meals! I used to cook in bulk when my kids were growing up. Now I cook for hubby (from MI) & me (from AZ), & I can & dehydrate. I bake bread & sweets & do most everything from scratch-so much better than those pathetic freezer meals in the stores. It’s fun! Everyone should learn to cook & then teach another :) God bless you from ret. military hubby & veteran wife in Oklahoma!

When I was in restaurant work we used a dispenser called, "Saf-T-Wrap foil/film dispenser". It's a bit pricy but you'll never struggle with an awkward cardboard box that can fall apart again. There are other lower cost options for home use, etc. but I don't have experience with those. Restaurant supply stores or the big "A" sells the dispensers. If you're interested, make sure you order for the size of the roll you use, 12", 18" etc.

Oh Renea, my heart broke when you said you want a momma. I know it’s almost 2 years. I’m sorry. We’re close in age, mom had me at 18 & lives 2 hours away. She always HATED to cook, so I was set loose in the kitchen soon as I could reach on a footstool. Mom worked second, so I was making meals for a nasty mean dad & baby brother. Some were flops, but they grubbed them down.😂I’ve made 5 tier wedding cakes(hand piped icing)been canning 30 years, a lot like you. My brother can cook too. I canned a bushel of beets for mom(her favorite)I send boxes of food home with her, opposite of you.😂She always says she doesn’t know where we got it, I tell her it’s called SURVIVAL!

You have his, hers and theirs. lol, my sister has 5 kids from her first marriage and he has 1 from his first narrative and together they have 1 child. When I was young, my mom made 1 dinner and if I didn’t like it, she didn’t make anything else for me. Money was always tight for my family growing up as my dad died when I was 9. My mom passed away 7/30/23 so that part of my life is over. My husband passed away on 2/28/24 so very recently and from a very bad work accident so now they part of our lives are over too. In this day and age, it is getting very hard and has been very hard to manage things as my husband and I had our 3 kids later in life. I am now 55 and my oldest is 20. 16&15 are my next 2. It is strange calling myself a widow too. But I have always wanted to make freezer meals as my kids love meatloaf, Mac n cheese, homemade Mexican, lasagne, spaghetti and meatballs. Why not make freezer meals out of all of that stuff? Wonderful video Renea(sp)

Hi Renae. I hope the you’re rid of the shingles. The symptoms seem to last forever. For your freezer meal prep, do you pull frozen chix, beef and pork from your freezer inventory to thaw, then prep the meals and refreeze the meats in the freezer meals?
@kannske786410 ай бұрын
Thanks for the recipes Renae! What is the brand of the cheese sauce you put in the mac and cheese casserole? It looked to be a can size 15-16 oz. If I leave out the onions and peppers, I think my picky husband would eat this (or maybe I could puree them to add)!
