I just finished binge watching your shows! I love you, your Mr. And grandkids. I just finished Easter boards !!! My husband was from Ann Arbor, his sister/husband have both passed they lived in Mesick, their Great Great Grandfather built the Grand Hotel on Mac Island! I’m 78 my dad was Air Force we moved every two years! I don’t know life like you do but I have had great experiences and learned many things. As a mom they called me Martha Stewart Barbara!! I have been calling a bunch of different places to get seasoned ground pork, nobody has it, so I will have to make my own, I can get the plain all over the place, same with a chuck roast, nobody has that. Keep in mind, I am in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.

Me and my husband always cook big batches of everything my problem is he has passed away and so many of the family is not with us anymore but I just can't seem to shop or bake in smaller batches but I love to cook and enjoy your show it reminds me so much of how me and my husband work together right now I'm in the process of getting my Christmas cookies and candy ready so I can make baskets for the ones that don't have much

You may already know this, but when I can't find Rice or Corn Chex, I use the Crispex cereal - corn on one side, rice on the other. I also use it when making it for here at the house - only two of us and he doesn't usually partake. AND I love that you call it "Nuts and Bolts" - that's what my parents called it when we were young. We also used to make GORP for a little treat, too. Glad you are on the mend!

I love your videos. I know you have your reasons, but I don't think you charge enough for the baked goods. If I were going to make those brownies for a bake sale, I would charge at least $3.00 each. In fact that's what most coffee shops charge for brownies.

I never know what to get my kids and grandkids for birthdays. This year in September one of my daughters had a birthday and one of my grandsons turned 16. I stayed there to cat sit while they went on vacation and I made them a bunch of breakfast freezer meals as birthday gifts. My grandson was actually thrilled!
