I love that moment in crafting when you realize you have the most useful thing that’s been useless for months. I am trying to make my display shelves more appealing, this one is definitely going into the notes! Glad to see you back so soon, keep at it!

Great video. I have used these lights in three of my builds, but it is hard to find the white lights this year. Keep making videos and I will keep watching.

Sorry... I was "crafting" myself. P.S. use the tip of the hot glue gun to texture most if not all. Use drips to secure other pieces! However... using actual plastic toy crystals would be just as nice and less wasteful. There's several nice options (pre-formed and growable) on that everything from A-Z delivery service.

What about using the hot tip of your hot glue gun to take off the rounded sides? Just slide it gently over the tip. Hmm I will have to try it

@@brokenterrain you're very welcome mate, I feel like maybe getting some cheap paste crystals off like ebay or whatever might be easier than the gluesticks method, but the whole thing looked awesome.

You might be right. The worst part of this project is the massive amount of glue stick carving and the time it takes.

We found the trick to cutting glue sticks is to use a brand new blade and the largest blade possible like an Olfa knife or heavy duty utility knife.But the sharper the better and also clean the blade while cutting as glue actually starts to build up on the blade.If you catch my sons Giant crystal golem you can see how well it can turn out. Happy holidays !

This would be great to make a "Land of the lost "type cave?

Would a small cheese grater be able to give the glue sticks the texture?
@brokenterrain2 жыл бұрын
Might work. Let me know how it turns out if you try it.
