I'm surprised how slow the XLite is at grinding beans. My Timemore C3 grinds 20 grams in about 35 seconds, around the same time as my ZP6. It must be the small internal volume of the XLite limiting how many beans can enter the burrs at one time.

i love my Timemore C3. Gosh you brewed your coffee more than 3 minutes?

I think a good grinder comparison would be to set both to practically the same grind size where it's known previously that gives the perfect brew time, a kruving (to sift with a Kruve) could just tell us it is indeed the same setting, then both grinds should be redone without kruving. Then a good way to taste both grinds would be without using any particular brewing method but simply let rest the grinds rest in a cup with the right amount of water, then remove the undesired particles from the top of the water and start tasting from the cup or with a spoon without agitating the grinds at the bottom.

They aren‘t doing it that scientific here. For a really meaningful statement you also need to compare multiple brews with more people. They are just sharing imprecisions. And so far they pretty much align with what others found as well.

Have you been watching TALES COFFEE, by chance? It looks like you did Vincent's single pour technique, but using a spoon instead of a chopstick to stir.
