His mother is still blaming everybody else. She gave him her car to drive knowing he didn't have a driver's license after having it taken from him from running over a girlfriend a month or 2 before this incident. His mother blames everybody else because "he's not on his meds, and they aren't giving him his meds". Nothing of which has been brought to anybody's attention yet, except for a biased media piece from a local channel. His mother says he shouldn't be punished for his actions, because he doesn't know what he did...he "blacked out" and you have to tell him what he did. She knows he has mental issues, has done nothing about it except give her son the keys to a murder weapon. His mother should be charged with accessory to the crime. For those of you wondering why these self-entitled people think the way they do, and it's everybody else's fault, I will refer you to his mother making up excuses for her child committing crimes. He has a history of criminal activity...she makes up excuses, blames everybody else, and tells her "poor, little, baby" it's not his fault, he did nothing wrong, it's always the crowd he's hanging with....btw, he wasn't hanging with a crowd.

"DARRELL BROOKS" (all caps) goes by the name "darrell brooks" (all lowercase) using special weirded-out punctuation. He's a sovereign citizen. They go by a pseudo-legal conspiracy theory called the Strawman theory. In this theory, the individual has two personas. In one, he's flesh and blood. In the other, he is the strawman, which is his legal personality. It's this legal personality that bears the responsibilities of taxes, liabilities, and debts. The strawman's name is written in all caps. Sovcits feel that they are freemen on the land and can do and say as they want. In law, it's a scam. The FBI considers promoters of this theory to be frauding, and the IRS feels it's a frivolous argument. Most Sovcits don't pay taxes anyway. They are the bottom of the barrel; and not just because they don't pay taxes. They think they've found the answer to how to get through life without having to work or pay for anything. They don't have driver's licenses, register their vehicles, or have legal license plates. They make up plates that say, "Private: Not For Hire". They believe that they are not driving...rather, they are traveling. Freemen don't pay to travel the roads. The reason Darrell Brooks keeps talking about how the state can't be a plaintiff is because a sovcit's theory is that a plaintiff must of flesh and blood to be the victim, not a government corporation as they call it. I believe that all sovcits are lying to themselves. I went down the rabbit hole on KZbin two years ago watching sovcit videos. They're fascinating.

@@female718dang I just watched these moments again. The only justice, and the only way this trial was tolerable at all with db’s antics and the mockery he made of everyone and everything is knowing he got 6 life sentences plus a thousand years and that he’s likely going to spend 23 hours a day in solitary.

@@monaspencer9335ha! I don’t think even they want a B like db. The absolute worst thing for this narcissist sociopathic killer is to be reminded of his “irrelevancy” at every turn. It’s really interesting rewatching this. I have no idea if he understood what it meant after a while, but on this day he clearly had no idea what “grounds” actually meant. So bizarre to hear him interrupt the prosecution with that while they’re objecting. Dorow gave him what he wanted once or twice when he said “grounds” so he figured it was some sort of magic word.

Brooks is completely incompetent to represent himself, asking the witnesses irrelevant questions like "do you know who the plaintif is?" or objecting with "hearsay" when they give direct testimony. The law should impose a lawyer to such people. Is he also going to cross examine the very people he injured with his SUV? God forbid!!!😮

he should have no right to complain about the use of force because the judge ask him to read the results and he didnt do it. if he had done what she asks or gave up the paper there wouldnt of been force to get it from him. The ppl he hit there bruises and cuts were 10 times worse!. he only cares about him and thats it. his little paper cut and little bruise will go away. Some of his victims will have scars for life. He needs to stop apologizing about his behaviour in court cause it never lasts only about 5 minutes then he goes off again when he dont get his way. his apology needs to go to victims. which hell never say.
