Tom, very wise to not allow your entire family be in one vehicle together without you. This is like the policies that every company has...all the executives are never allowed to travel all on one plane, sadly bad things have happened which brought about these rules. The older children are well capable of helping prepare dinner or come up with something if they are late home. Maybe time to delegate 1 night a week to older kids. Provide a list of what’s available or leave it up to them to choose and create. It promotes skills needed for growing up and also thinking about others

I have the same potato cutter. I never thought of using it for apples. I will be making some apple pies and turnovers in the future.

The girls really need a haircut. They look good, but it would be easier on them . I know you like it long because of your wife but they’re not her don’t want to sound mean I lost my husbands my son looks like him sometime more him then me but I don’t keep telling him that he knows it
