This project is a great initiative. I'm so thankful for the guys who made it. They are Brazilians just like me :D Anyway, I have to say that the level design have some flaws, like Game Over on the first stage!?? On a well designed game, the first level can't be so hard, it have to be a introduction for people who already knows DKC series and also for those that never ever played a single game in life. I think this can be easy fixed, like, having no pits on the first level, or not having a jumping alligator as the first enemy lol. If you take DKC 1 or DKC 2 as example, the first baddie is a tinny guy, like a rat, with no special abilities. Well, this is just my opinion, I'm glad there's people making videos about this project. Thanks for that :)

It’s a pretty fun rom hack. My problem with it was the laggy input. That’s what caused me to die so quick. I’m good at the other DKC games but this one felt a bit different control wise. I hope they make more levels someday, I’ll play them for sure

My Donkey Kong Country 4 would have been a New Orleans /Swamp theme. Swanky and Funky are at a casino when all the other Kongs get captured so you play as them. One level is a Kremling themed Mardi Gras parade and there are casino bonus games. K Rool has a crocodile skull mask and is into voodoo now. He has voodoo dolls of all the Kongs and uses them to his advantage. Instead of rat enemies you would have possums. Also, there are good Kremlings that help you out along the way. That’s just off the top of my head

Tried this game myself and I like the levels, the music and design of most levels but there is one problem with this game from experience and I get very bad lag from the controls as they do not always respond to my inputs when I need them the most. So if they can fix this bug then great but I think that there should be a save point after every three levels. Because the controls are my main issue and I am using a Dual Shock 3 controller for my game.

I've been seeing this game in my feed lately. After watching you play it I finally caved in and gave it a shot. Honestly, the game just feels really... off. Like, you have to be frame perfect with ALL of your inputs. Playing the other 3 games and then going to this is like going from Smash Ultimate to Melee - it's just feels too strict.

The physics of the game were completely different from the original that I’m used to, it threw me off. Also dealing with an input delay didn’t help. This stream was 2 years ago and I’ve since played the newer levels and gotten used to the physics and released more videos. they implemented the final physics to the last level and they feel much better. Haven’t released that video yet tho
