Gaboon vipers are amongst my favorite venomous snakes. Would I keep one? Hell no! I’m happy just watching a video of these neat fat-headed snakes. 🐍

That was a lot of substrate on the rat at the end, is that an issue? Can they eat too much of it while feeding?

I hate that substrate because it sticks to everything. Exactly why I stopped using it. Looked like a lot of substrate stuck to that baby rat.

Coconut in general tends to stick. But as it is fine pieces, it digests or passes through. Large chunks to me are much scarrier
