Let me get my main trombone, Bach model 7 from 1935. I want to play Emmet. Bartley & Gelin are amazing, plus you and your regular band. Love your chords and solos Emmet. Right down my alley, that's music! Played in public for the first time since 2002 During the World Association of Show Bands, WAMSB. I still have it! Pleasure having a bunch of kids more than 3rd my age cheering me on. Best wishes Emmet, Poole, Hall.

Forget double time. Patrick Bartley is managing to actually be the first jazz musician ever to play quadruple time and still weave out of articulations and rhythms that are the cleanest I've ever heard. Absolute Legend😎 P.S. While switching time feels and meter on the drop of a dime! #Stablemates

I don't play games but I love listening to J-Music Band covers of VGM - Patrick and his own band do such incredible things with VGM, a lot of which is actually very good music. (Also The Consouls VGM jazz is great.)

I’ve been watching these guys every week since early in the pandemic, and every few weeks they play a song that just knocks me out. Rosalina in the Observatory is one of those tracks.

If you haven't checked out all Patrick's J-Music Band stuff yet you are in for a treat. J-Music Band and The Consouls (they also covered Rosalina's Observatory) are my favourite VGM jazz bands.

@@ShangoJr98 How wonderful that would have been! Those sessions are absolutely incredible - crazy good musicianship and amazing jazz. I'm waiting for Sydney to exit the latest lockdown and hoping for The Consouls to be able to perform live again. I haven't seen them live since 2016 :(
