I am very pleased to hear of the rejuvenation of Dr. Peikoff’s site. I was the first person to call Leonard Peikoff’s radio show. People probably thought my call was prearranged, but it was entirely spontaneous. I’ve learned a great deal from Leonard Peikoff and I look forward to seeing what the site has to offer.

In Fall 1965, the late Reggie Smyth organized the first official University of Texas Objectivism student group. As a founding member of that group I am proud to learn that the Ayn Rand University will be located in Austin at the Ayn Rand Center.

I am awestruck. This is what has been needed since Ayn Rand first put pen to paper. Please do it as fast as humanly possible so I get to see it 's impact on the culture. Well Done!

I'd love to see ARI have some program to address campus clubs. This may not be ARI's focus nowadays. As a veteran of 1980s campus clubs, speaking with Donna at ARI, getting the campus club manual in the 1980s, and having meetings was the definition of cool. There was a thrill to storming the beaches of Normandy. And surviving, of course. Perhaps yours truly and like-minded folks can contribute to a special fund earmarked for such a purpose, even if it may seem like a horse-and-buggy means toward changing the culture.

I cried when they introduced the temple. This is incredible
@RogerFusselman7 ай бұрын
"Temple" isn't the word of what it is. Because it's based on this world and is apprehendable by the mind, this center is the opposite of a temple. The crying comes from inspiration derived from real life rather than from mystical premises. It's not where our culture today thinks we will be get inspiration from.

@@Justin_Beaver564 I think the purpose of a political party is to get elected. ARI isn't a political party and they promote ideology. So do all sorts of organizations that are not political parties. For one thing, ideology is wider than politics. Ideology includes philosophical takes that aren't related to politics.
