This is awesome. Deserves a thorough listen, twice if you have to.

What if your independent, heroic journey leads to an altruistic life?

How will this happen? One is the opposite of the other. Can eating lead to starvation? Can drinking water cause thirst?

@@Handleyourcandle_1 easy if you use logic and autonomy as Rand would like you to do. In any case an individual is free to chose how to be his best person. This is in complete alignment with Objectivist Ethics. If a person can then be the only entity to chose whatever makes them the person version of themselves then a person can chose an altruistic life. If one is a free being to chose then they can chose to do whatever they want. If anyone follows Objectivist Ethics and disagrees then that person is standing in way of individual autonomy. Logic leads to only one conclusion, a free being can be whatever a free being wants to be, in order to be the best version of themselves. No matter how many water or food if/thens you use.

@@alamagoddystyleI don’t know what that has to do with an individual’s right to chose.
