Live Funk Rock Jam - Ft. Friedman Little Sister & Gibson R2

A totally off the cuff jam in the break of shooting some content for another project. Joined by the killer rhythm section of Ben Fagg on Drums and Ben Royston on bass. A special thanks to the multi-talented Joe Green for AV capture on the day and Mike Bullen at Dog House Studios.
My rig consisted of a customised Gibson R2 into my grab & go pedal board into the Friedman Little Sister head with matching cab.

The amp was just on loan from the guys at Friedman. It’s a killer amp, I would have picked one up but it’s not the right kind of amp for the gigs I’m doing right now unfortunately.

Bit of an odd comment to leave but I’ll indulge. You are hearing the amp with some reverb for most of this video. Some delay at points. The only other pedals used are the Octron and Univibe. Both sounds that can’t be achieved by any amp. Why limit creativity 🤷‍♂️

Still liking the Little Sister. I’m close to getting one. Just torn between it and maybe an actual Marshall, but I play at home mostly. Trying to achieve a plexiglass sound at living room levels.

Absolutely spectacular! I could've listened to that all day long. I just picked up a LS, partially from this video. At the time I had no idea it existed, I was going to pickup the Dirty Shirley mini. This is the best amp I've ever owned, and it's SOOOO true to the Twin Sister.....far more so than the PT V2 is to the BE (although, the new PT V2 is IMO a completely different beast than the old PT. Cragginshred did a demo of the PT V2, and is pulling tones out of it that are haw dropping, for what that's worth). Very well done, Dan!

The only Les Paul I own is my red studio. Any other Les Pauls you see in this video or others are on loan from my good mate Joe Green. He has a beautiful collection!
