Bang Saray is a wonderful quiet area, nice clean beaches. All depends on what you want. I like the Mirage one bedder great for the price. If you have access to a scooter or car, travelling to Jomtien or Pattaya is a breeze. Great video Jason ! Keep up the good work:) Ronnie

The second condo was an absolute gem for only 12k. I love how quiet bang Saray is and you’re only 25 minutes from all the action if you’re feeling like a night out. Even the one for sale for only 600k was liveable and very cheap price. It seems like a great area. Thanks for showing this one

If rent is so cheap buying does not make sense really you have so much more flexibility renting , and with with the phantom costs of owing you avoid those costs , becomes so cheap and easy life you can pickup and move if things change , gotta love Thailand. Gr8 videos GVP.

Worry about the mirage having its view blocked, ( only if you were buying). But the AD condos one would be quite a neat base in Thailand to keep stuff if you were only there for part of the year £13.5k and if I'm correct less than £200 p/a for maintenance charges.

I could not live in Pattaya or Jomtien but certainly could in Bang Saray . I liked Mirage unit . AD condo at 600k would be a fine base or a renovation to kitchen area & added storage + Murphy bed would give interesting rental options given the very high review score of this property. Popular with Thais a big plus

It’s a beautiful place and I did live there and will end up back in Bang Saray, it’s my pick but maybe not for everyone, you definitely need to check it out, I only moved because I had my heart set on the condo I currently live in and it suits me in terms of KZbin 👍

Great vids as usual. From my time there, a few years total, I always wondered why they kept building condos that 90% remain empty. I'd sit and watch 4-6 lights on at night in a 40 story complex. The sheer number of empty room when I would shop for a place was crazy not to mention the broom closet sizes. From Naklua to Jomtien was mostly empty all times of the year. Keep up the exploring, You are getting better with every vid

I like the unit at the Mirage a lot. nice and bright. I call it the Hippo House because of the hippos on the roof deck/bbq area. lol. That seems like an unbeatable deal, to me. The $16k US condo is really small, but i can see it meeting the needs of some folks. It is def affordable! take care friend! and have a great weekend!

I love that first one the one bedroom, my family would kill me if I got a one bedroom. They keep telling me to get a two bedroom so they can come visit. I told them when they come visit. I’ll have a killer resort for them to stay at not my apartment. Lol My nephew told me to buy a really nice two or three bedroom and he would pay $100,000 toward it. He must plan on coming to see me a lot!!! lol The second one was killer though !!!

Yeah it’s a nice apartment and you are far better off renting a one bedroom and as you say, when family visit they can stay in a hotel or resort, rent for two bedrooms is naturally more expensive and how often are you going to get family visiting, smart man 👍👍👍

They have talked about a change in the law that allows foreigners to buy land in Thailand under the condition that when they sell the land they must sell it to a Thai, something like a leasing contract where everything is paid in advance. I don't know if the 30 plus 30 year lease of land is still an option, it was often used in the past when you bought a house instead of using greyish Thai companies like they do now

I'm tempted to rent one of those cheap condos and have it as a holliday home and at the same time I rent a much bigger condo in Bkk, it won't cost me more than 15000 bath plus water and electricity for both. I don't like driving in Thailand and that way I don't have to move stuff back and forth with taxis and buses

I m 54 years old. If I come to your area in Thailand with $40,000 USD would that be enough to live on (I very rarely drink- 3-4 times per year-- that includes even one glass of wine or a bottle of beer...GOUT)? I had enough women in my life sexually so that is a non-issue. I am married, but she will stay in China and visit 3-4 times a year. I believe I will have to get a tourist visa and renew it every month or whenever the gov't says I have to. I want a condo in the 5000-10000 range. I will purchase health insurance as well. I have an offer to teach ESL in Thailand as well. Is this feasible?
