These people not voting, reminds me of this= When I was 18, I was complaining with a friend about politics on the city bus. An elderly lady overheard us and asked, "Did you vote". We hadn't so the lady responded "If you didn't vote, you not have the right to complain. By voting you're making your voice heard. The one you voted for may not win, but at least you spoke up...if you had voted".

Someone who doesn't vote when the candidates are corrupt has WAY more of a right to complain than the people who keep ushering in the next generation of corporate shills of their own free will. Some TX machines were counting Straight Dem ticket votes as votes for Cruz, and not enough voters reviewed what was being recorded for them before they accepted the vote the machine was casting for them. There was a way to change the "malfunction" to correct your vote back to Beto, but required going back 32 screens to do it. Secretary of State refused to fix the machines when they were caught "malfunctioning" in early voting, and also refused to warn the voters so that they would know to check their straight ticket votes before approving & casting their vote.

Oil and gas sponsored measures across the country won, endangering protected habitats and the environment in general. Progressive tax increase measures in Colorado, Washington, and Florida that would have raised taxes for the rich and lowered them for the middle class and poor failed. These taxes would have supported public education. Minor house seats are meaningless. The republicans gave those seats in protection of what mattered--legislation and the senate.

I am really surprised at how many people are shocked by this mid term....This happens to almost every sitting party...I think the sitting president didnt loose seats only twice...1 time was Bush but that was after 9/11 so does not count.
