A Post Office investigator involved in the wrongful conviction of a pregnant postmistress to give evidence to the inquiry.
Seema Misra was one of more than 900 sub-postmasters wrongfully prosecuted because of faulty Horizon software and was handed a 15-month sentence in 2010 while eight weeks’ pregnant with her second child.
Jon Longman, who searched her house during the internal investigation, will give evidence to the inquiry remotely.

The incidence of amnesia within the population of POL employees is really extraordinary. It's a medical phenomenon. Must have been something in their drinking water.

After Watching Hours of this Inquiry It's Becoming No Surprise Things Turned out Like they Did , Most of the Post Office Staff From Managers up to Directors ..Lawyers Investigators Were All Incompetent & in many case Not very Well EDUCATED . Many were Clueless poorly Trained & Lucky to have Passed the Interview !

Fujitsu sold the POL a donkey instead of a thoroughbred but the POL convinced themselves and tried to convince everyone else it was in actual fact a thoroughbred. Unbelievable.

This has to be the case study on how not to procure an IT system. I see no POL procurement directors giving evidence or ever mentioned.

A Post Office Investigator with very little to no knowledge of how the Horizon System worked. Absolutely no help to Sub Postmasters in there problems. Doesn’t ‘this show us the Post Office didn’t want to investigate losses but just prosecute.

I think that senior executives in both the *** ****** and ****** knew that the ****** system was buggy and causing the problems. They needed to cover it up in order to save face and in order to get their bonuses. Company names redacted to avoid prosecution.

Nothing like a good cover up because something would look bad. Always looks a lot worse when seen with the cover up. Shows what a rotten culture the company had.

Crap interviewing. Says "with the benefit of hindsight" a lot. OF COURSE we would all change things with the benefit of hindsight. Gives the person being interviewed a get out every time.

If I was prosecuting I would be offering: We all know gathering data doesn’t take 30 days, it takes 30 seconds, 29 days 7h 59min the remaining time is needed in reviewing the data to decide which parts of the data to disclose.
