Did you ever run R compounds on the M? I do believe that cayman will brake better and carry more corner speed but the m might make up for it on the straights

How are you liking the x73 suspension. Was it worth the upgrade? Do you notice it on daily driving as well as track driving?

My dad has a 981 GTS with X73 (in profile pic) which I have driven on street, autocross, and track. Don't have any experience in non-X73, but it feels great!! Still perfectly livable day-to-day. Road tripping as well. As long as your exhaust isn't straight through or you have a valved system, it's fine.
