@Princeducielruka sorry I missed your question: "Best thing for bad sunburn recovery? Week out my skin is still a bit tender and red. Aloe doesn’t do much for s parts." Me: Not much does much. Aloe is my favorite, with as much evidence as a better subjective experience than other ingredients for wound healing in the setting of sun burn. But Spoiler alert. More on this very soon =)

@Patchzero Sorry i missed your question "My beard is like Dr Shah's. Wondering if I should use on it. Currently I just shampoo it. Lotion? Beard oil? Sunscreen?" Every one is different. Everyones is different. Some people need a more acne targeted cleanser, some more dandruff/seborrheic dermatitis ingredients, and then topical ingredients as for the normal skin care concerns with lighter weight vehicles to get through the facial hair. Beard oils are nice to help control wild beard hair or dry skin. And sunscreen, Korean sunscreens or chemical susncreens work in the beard area the best.

@ 1:20:06 Thank you for answering my question on whether you can use DRMTLGY Needleless serum in same routine as retinols. A popular aesthetician here on KZbin said not to use them together for some reason, so I’m glad that you say yes you can😊 Great live❤

Dr. I'm up at 4 a.m. and I've been an Aide for 30 years. I do A 20 min. routine in the A.M. and 20 min routine at night skincare. It's the medical field. Our days start so early and long hours. Most people hear my schedule, and they can't believe or think of working those hours. Oh Dr. Jart Camo SPF is a spot treatment. SPF to aide, protect and repair.

Thank you to the people in chat who answered my question! Realized I had a sample moisturizer that had vit c in it. Tried it on my sunburn and IT WORKED. The skin hadn’t been absorbing moisturizers and would just get angry and irritated. After using that everything absorbed! It’s already looking less angry red and more healing pink. Bad sunburns that aren’t healing well, are drying out and aren’t responding to aloe, VITAMIN C!!!

Please do more of these! I just love it and there is so much good information. LOVE micellar water as a first step to my cleansing routine since I wear water resistant sunscreen and then follow up with an oil cleanser and very mild gel cleanser. Three step cleansing routine😀

I know there are a number of waterproof Japanese sunscreens but not so much Korean. I have also never come across a waterproof korean sunscreen, surely they exist but I suspect in Korea people don't really use waterproof sunscreens. I used to get confused with Isntree and Innisfree as they sound similar, I prefer Isntree for fragrance free as most Innisfree's products are so heavily scented

You mentioned using Micellar water as the first cleansing step but I thought after using a cleansing balm that turns to oil I need to use a product to remove the oil before using my toners, serums etc. I’ve therefore been using the Micellar water to do that, is that not right? Also I came across a 2 yr old video of yours around the research & effectiveness of microcurrent devices & you weren’t a fan. Have you looked into this again more recently?

I’ve been using one from Homedics for about two years now. If used on a regular bases I can definitely say it works! But if you’re not consistent with it, I’d say go have it done at a medspa or derm office. I believe the frequency that’s used in office, is quiet a bit stronger than what you’d get in an at home device. But I’m loving mine from Homedics and am glad I purchased.

I have one and it definitely works 🤣 I used to have hair grow consistently and evenly on my legs and arms, but now it’s more so just patchy and the hair is thinner. Some parts of my legs and arms don’t even grow hair anymore (I’m horrible at keeping up with it).
@haribo99ify Жыл бұрын
Yes they do work. I bought mine about a decade a go (or more!). It didn’t work straight away but you have to keep at it. If you have pale skin with dark hair than it’s definitely going to work on you. Where your hair is blond or your skin is dark it may not work. There’s areas where it doesn’t work but around the bikini area where I had ingrown hairs it worked perfectly.

i just discovered slugging. I searched and found a video wherein u suggest what moisture cream to use on the skin. I purchased cerave. Have u made a video which shows how to start the process? ex: when putting vaseline atop the moisturizer, how much vaseline does one use? how long should the layers (moisturizer, vaseline) b left on? how should it b taken off, soap and water? or only use thin layers that eventually get absorbed by the skin? I like your show and watch it when i get home in the evenings (not always 😇).

A question about *sun* *exposure* *vs* *vitamin* D. Is there a *safe* amount of time spent in the sun with or without sunscreen to get enough of vitamin D? I had always thought that being blond and pale and living in Colorado makes it just impossible to have a vitamin D *deficiency* while my recent lab results of 9.7 ng/ml proved me wrong. After growing a little bit of brain I was very cautious of the sun exposure and tried to avoid the sun as much as possible, as well as wearing sunblock and covering my skin, especially knowing what is does to my pale skin after having more than a few bad sunburns earlier in my life. Now I see that there is too much of that aspect I don't understand. How do I protect myself and my child while not taking anything away? Or are we just doomed to take supplements for the rest of our lives?

I purchased the AlphaRet Intensive Overnight cream and the tinted Ella MD mineral sunscreen and I am happy to report that both work wonderfully! My skin looks so good! I tried the DRMTGY tinted sunscreen and it was a no go. It made my face feel like sandpaper. The physical one they came out with us much much better, but Ella MD is way better. Can you recommend a good hydrating serum? I probably need to drink more water, but I don’t find many creams moisturizing. Thank you!

My question has been that I have adult acne (never had acne as a teenager) from my 'mustache' area across to my ears and down to my chin, but up from that line to my hair line I have psoriasis. What is a good skin routine to help both parts of my face? I would like to treat the acne without drying out my face that already makes too much skin cells thinking I am dry/oily.

Peter Thomas Roth had an amazing cloud mist spray thing that was AMAZING for my dehydrated, sensitive skin... and of course they discontinued it. How do you feel about Dr Lancer Skincare? Skinfix Skincare? And Tower 28 SOS mist and serum? I have typically normal skin, which often is dehydrated, but is very sensitive and reactive. I will immediately turn red or feel a sting when my skin does not like something. Most of my skin issues I think are related to a mutation I have... lol. I've not gotten it proven by an MD, but I did my own research... you know how that goes. I have that condition where more than one hair grows from a hair follicle. I also have some keratin build up (from blocked follicles) which cause those under the skin hard tiny bumps on my face. I also get bumpy red skin from shaving (I don't use any razor more than 4 or 5 uses), maybe KP? Or, "chicken skin" but not all over my body, just like my legs or armpits where I shave. And I do exfoliate with a scrub and alternate with AHA scrubs. Any other suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks for these lives!

What is a good night moisturizer to use as last step. I’m over 80, use retin a every night, and have sensitive skin. I really don’t use any actives on my neck because it is very sensitive. A very expensive one is unrealistic for me but it doesn’t have to be a really cheap one either. TIA. I really enjoy your programs.

IDK YOU'RE INDONESIAN!! hi from indonesia! i hope you'll get to try some of the skincare from here (i listed some in the community post from a few weeks ago). there are waterproof Korean sunscreen. i believe the "essence milk" you use has a waterproof version (i think the brand is missha, the product is essence milk btw). my experience with Japanese waterproof/active purpose sunscreen is that it's still sting my eyes. so i just give up on chemical sunscreen even though i need a waterproof one so i think it's the same for Korean ones.
