@@mehdikartout5601 yeah I guess so. I’ve been hoping that Kubo has been working with the anime developers and rewriting and/or adding things to the TYBW arc. Essentially “fixing” all the rushed parts or unexplained things and adding backstory to the world and characters.

I think he learned from what happened on the precedent arcs, and all the rushing thing, so I'm sure he have at least the whole story prepared, and maybe some chapters already drawed, so he won't have to rush himself, you'll never catch him ruining his material again.

is about the balance of both world, the ss was the big one while the hell was the small one. when in ss died all those captain with aizen seal, that means the big one died making the hell having more reishi than ss, that is why it said the small one grow and never thought he could be that big, because that was never happened before. i know is other manga but is like kawaki with the vessel he broke.

We see the goldfish in the panel where Szayel is explaining that the balance has been broken. So it's definitely an analogy for the balance between Hell and the Soul Society. Though it could be a dual meaning.

The implications here are MASSIVE. Kubo can do some insane things with this Hell arc. Any Arrancar or Soul Reaper (And possibly Quincy) that's died in the series can come back as an antagonist now and I absolutely love it. If Kubo really wants to go hard on this arc he can by far make it the best Bleach has ever been in terms of story and fights. Imagine some of the crazy stuff we could be getting? Rukia Vs. Kaine, Rangiku Vs. Gin, Hisagi Vs. Tousen rematch, Ulqiorra returning to the series, YAMAMOTO USING HIS BANKAI IN HELL TO SUMMON THE DEAD! I haven't been this excited for a manga in a long time. I'm so happy Bleach is being given the love it deserves.

I think the goldfish thing is relating to how goldfish will grow proportional to the size of their enclosure. So now that one goldfish is gone the other has more space and resources to grow larger.

Well, it is classified as a One-Shot, and those are usually made so it is gauged if it is worthy of serialization. So basically this is Kubo Tite's pitch to Shonen Jump to restart Bleach.

Kimetsu no Yaiba ended and from what I heard Jujutsu no Kaisen is on its way to a conclusion sooner rather than later. Given Kubo still has a good working relationship with Shueisha and TYBW is going to have an anime adaptation soon they might have approached him, asking if he'd consider bringing Bleach back if he can think of an interesting enough arc to illustrate. It appears that is what we are going to get (or we can at least hope so).

The substitute shinigami badge acted a a proxy for Ukitake's Grave hence the ritual was complete. Probably it had a piece of his soul, not a crazy idea since he was tecnically a part of the Soul King so splitting his soul by imbuing them with his reiatsu should not be impossible. Also, notice how the eyes on the skeleton attached to the gates of hell in the end is the same kind of eyes Kazui summons on the shrine and how it's staring at Kazui. Those are the warden of hell eyes, as defined by Szayel as All-seeing.

We see in a flashback between Rukia and Kaien where Kaien says this: "Our bodies are composed entirely from Reishi. If we die, our bodies will disintegrate and become part of the reishi that makes up Soul Society. And when that time comes, where will your heart go? Your heart will be passed on to your friends." So we kinda already knew of the thing that Shunsui talked about in this chapter. I never realized how much this community meant to me until today. I have been a Bleach fan since the early days, but having lost friends whom I shared a passion of Bleach with (who I wish could be here today), and watching videos like yours reading this new chapter for the first time (I was already a sub, and while I often don’t agree with many of your tales, they are always incredibly insightful and well-meaning), I never really teared up as a fan until today. I feel like this is my friends who have passed, myself, and the entire anime community coming together to celebrate a weird event that we never thought would happen, and that I wish some of my friends could see...a new Bleach chapter. Your videos have always been from the heart, but watching this reminded me so much of those earlier times with my best friend, and how we would have reacted to this chapter, both the ups and the downs. Thank you for the nostalgia, thanks to Kubo and SJ, and to all my fellow Bleach fans out there that never stopped believing, as stupid and ridiculous as that sounds 🙂😅☺️

Mayuri changes his look EVERY day. Its in one of the databooks but he does something different on a daily basis. In TYBW he changed after emerging from the lab and stayed that way until the conclusion of the war and that itself was only a couple of days or so.

One of the main theories I have relating to Ukitake is him somehow having a larger connection with Ichigo and Kazui. Sogyo no Kotowari roughly translates to “Law of The Twin Fish”, the monologue at the start about the two goldfish could very well be Ukitake and not Kazui. It’s a lot to unpack and I haven’t figured everything out but I feel like we’re going to see more Ukitake when it comes to this Hell arc and Kazui specifically.

I think the goldfish part was Kubo talking symbolically about Bleach, and how it ended before (the goldfish dying). But then over time people have been wanting Bleach back and its been growing in popularity (the other goldfish growing) and now Kazui (the next generation) is riding the goldfish (Bleach). Hope that I'm making sense lol.

I'm pretty sure it actually serves two other purposes narratively. One is as an allegory for the balance, with the non-Hell side taking catastrophic losses represented by the death of the greater goldfish resulting in the lesser goldfish (Hell in this case) thriving and growing larger as a result and allowing Hell to intrude upon the outside worlds. Aizen is functionally sealed and Yhwach is also functionally sealed as the cadaverous Soul King replacement, and no fewer than three additional massive sources of spirit energy have been dropped into Hell on top of that. We don't know if Tousen or Gin were given a Soul Funeral given Renji being unaware of the custom until Old Man Yama's ceremony and theirs would have been around the time of the last chapter of the old run if they had happened. Regardless of if they only got three ancient captains or if they also got two younger rogue captains, Hell got all it needed to thrive and encroach. The other part has some very sinister implications for Kazui. Namely that he seems to lack a proper concept of life and death due to being more or less mixed up with both sides from an incredibly early age. Normally the death of a pet would be a lesson on mortality for a child, but given the two large fish spirits Kazui and Kon ride, when one of his two goldfish died, he still had two goldfish and the other one started thriving. Combine that with the implication that he's sneaking out at night and damning souls to Hell thinking that he's helping them and you have a fairly young child who is running free doing horrifying things with all the excitement of his mother back in the bakery she used to work at and zero concept that he's doing anything messed up.

The Gold fish bit is beautiful, you can interpret it several ways..sometimes we don't see the good that can come from loss immediately, you must stay strong and just allow life to happen. Also, often times we don't realize that something we love may not be good for us or those around us, we can be blinded by love. The larger goldfish was suppressing the smaller goldfish by eating a majority of the food and once it was gone (possibly from eating itself to death) the smaller goldfish flourished and became healthy and strong, before this the owner didn't realize that the smaller goldfish was struggling.

@@anthony89107 Could it be a roundabout reference to Ywach and Yamamoto meeting their ends? As two characters with the highest reiatsu and their defeat/removal in the series could have created room for something even worse to appear in their place. The good thing is by the end of the chapter it leaves things open enough for that to be a possibility (I don't think for a moment that Kubo introduced the two new vice-captains and their fighting techniques to then never show them again). We'll be getting more chapters of Bleach. Its just a matter of when really.

With Aaronierro being one of my favorite villains and sadly underused, I'm excited at his potential return, especially since Szayel was with him and was just in this chapter. I also think we NEED to see more of Isane and Iba. Personal desires aside, I think this is an idea that best works with context. Outside looking in, this is Hell opening up as a cheap excuse for old characters to return so we don't need any new ideas. And it's fair to be wary that this might be all the arc is, a bunch of callbacks. However, Bleach is immersed in the afterlife and Hell barely being included until now has been one of its greatest ironies. What's more, I fully expect the characters in Hell to be changed by the experience. We may even see some villains with their sins washed away and return good, or heroes unjustly tortured. This idea easily brings back the theme of questioning established rules. Placing powerful souls into Hell is a convenient safety measure of the rest of reality, even if it's not a fair or just answer. For Bleach, there's a lot more potential here than just a series of blasts from the past looking for rematches.

Going forward I really wish manga publishers would do this for their beloved series: give their creators unlimited time to come up with a decent plot, don't put them on a schedule (at last not week-to-week), and let them take a break once in a while to get some rest. That way they can tell the story they want and fans deserve.

Can't imagine how strong these Hell Captains will be. Though as people said Yama shoulda been erased from existence since he got killed by a Quincy (YH). @@gabrieleq-gab Yeah he got chopped in half but was still alive. What killed him was YH Quincy death beams. Also people shouldn't be expecting Ulquiorra to come back, he died to a Cero not Zangetsu. Barragan got killed by Respira so he shouldn't be there either. The ones that got killed by zanpakutou were Szayel, Yammy, Starrk, Nnoitra, Zommari and Aaroneiro.

Honestly, one of my biggest problems with Bleach was how a lot of characters ended up woefully underutilized by the end of the story. Ukitake was one of my favorites and topped the list for me in terms of getting written off unceremoniously. Starrk was another one I wanted to see more of. The fact that Kubo is writing an arc that lets all of those characters come back and get some screen time is actually very hype. Also was that monologue at the beginning Kyoraku?

Stark character is literal loneliness, thus he is meant to be left out. Kinda make sense why he got left out from being chosen as a Bleavh volume cover. I also like how Kubo won't force most of the characters even if they are popular to audience to be shoehorned in the story or fights when they truthfully aren't cut out for those particular scenes. Like Kubo does not force Chad to be suddenly op or make him win in against opponents that are just out of his league.

Given the focus on the goldfish spirits and Kazui, it was probably Kazui narrating. Also Starrk appearing could be a possibility but it would have to be established that he and/or Lillynette had sinned deeply enough in their original human lives to get yeeted to Hell when killed via Zanpakuto. Spirits Are Always With You established very thoroughly that Szayelaporro (and Ylfordt too) had thoroughly earned a one way trip to Hell from back when they were alive.

I was wondering what’s up with Ichigo’s blade. We all know that he never could seal his blade. But I think he can do so now. It’s just bigger then the usual sealed blade. He is a dual wielder now. But he only has one blade in this chapter. And I think that would be so cool if he had learned how to seal it post war! This chapter was so fucking sick! The differences between Ichigo and Kazui is what impresses me, granted Ichigo was a teen helping spirits while Kazui is a kid, but regardless Ichigo was pretty open about seeing ghosts and helping that little girl by offering her flowers instead of going to a shrine unlike Kazui who sneaks out to do this. I JUST NOTICED Szayalapero has the same black energy cloak and same tattoes as Mugetsu Ichigo. But more importantly Mugetsu Ichigo also shares similarities to Ywhachs cloak when he absorbs the soul king. This black energy seems to be a divine power. That plus the hollow holes now look like Halos. And how NO ONE CAN SENSE THE HOLLOWS BEHIND THEM. This must mean that the citizens of hell are transcended beings just like how Dangai Ichigo and Aizen were during their final fight. Because you cant sense the power of a transcended being.

We won't see Gin or Tosen and here's why: What we know so far is only the Soul Funeral Festival is capable of sending captain level souls to hell. Although it's taught at the Soul Academy, Renji mentioned he only heard of it 12 years later after Yamamoto died and since Gin and Tosen died 2 years prior to the canonical end of the manga (thus 14 years ago in the new one shot), it's safe to assume they didn't get the funeral festival treatment otherwise Renji would've mentioned them first and not Yamamoto and thus not sent to hell. So their Reishi/Reiatsu is still scattered somewhere. But Tosen has a higher chance than Gin of appearing because of his hollowfication. If Szayel as a hollow could be sent to hell, than Tosen could theoretically also have a chance. And yeah, maybe Rangiku made a shrine for Gin and Hisagi/Komamura one for Tosen, but like I said it's safe to assume they didn't know about the ritual, didn't kill a hollow in front of the grave and thus didn't condemn them to hell.

Your making some assumptions there I disagree that we can't see gin or any captain lvl shinigami in hell here's why the Soulreaper Captins that required the Festival funeral died in the soul society meaning there souls had no where to go they couldn't leave since it's already an afterlife location BUT gin and tosen lost there lives in the world of the living did they not? This I think CAN no for sure but CAN leave the opportunity to have them sent to hell so I just wouldn't rule that out entirely

Though for Gin, Matsumoto has been carrying the Ring Gin gave her which can act as a shrine for Gin. So anytime after 12 years post Gin's Death that Matsumoto kill any hollows, the Ritual basically is performed. Yeah, any things that those captain level had left behind can act as a shrine like how the substitute shinigami badge of Ichigo acted as 1 during this. The real question is Yama died by the hands of a quincy, so his Soul should be oblitirated out from the life and death cycle right. Or does Death by quincy actually directly sends the soul to hell since yeah, their reishii left over gets cut off from the cycle and since they go nowhere they are sent to hell instead

I’m so excited. I think something lit a fire under Kubo’s ass. The art in this chapter is supreme. One little aspect I think might be at play here - I feel like Kubo is inspired because the quality of manga has definitely improved in the last 5 years or so. I think we might get some of Kubo’s best work yet, because he’s got to now compete against Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Attack on a Titan, and so many others. I think as a storyteller and artist, being surrounded by such talent will push him to that next level of storytelling and creativity.

I heard kubo didn't like the hell verse movie, which wasn't cannon, since he didn't have his hands in it like he wanted. So i think, if continued, this will be what kubo wanted from the movie.
