I'm not sure about console footage, Yes it software lumen, not hardware one (software one is commonly used on consoles), but we also see 60fps, so either we see very good optimisation (with UE5 ahhah), or it's just PC with console quality mode equivalent settings, or straight up ultra (this one would be disappointing, because I would like to see hardware Ray Tracing). Anyway we can see from footage that they did great job, world is very dense, detailed I didn't really seen that approach for quite some time.

@@lennic UPD: 4K 60fps stated on xbox, so that means it was xbox footage, not PC one. Maybe PC will have more advanced RT lighting (like on more early trailers). But the most I would like to see option for IRL like weapons zoom (again like first trailers) 🙏

the only few things i dislike is the weapon wheel design and vegetation field. the weapon wheel needs a more of a innovative design they should redesign it similar to dead space style in mind, now the vegetation is not realistic enough when you run towards it doesn't move, you just run through it and for ue5 thats unacceptable😂

fair the wheel is something i will never see / use on PC so i dont care, but recently SSS got moving grass to work, its a cheap effect but works well, moving grass should be in yes even if its subtle, same when anomalies trigger nearby

Lean on controller isn’t all that hard to map if its made context sensitive where you can only do it while ADSing. Siege did that, while ADS you click left stick to lean left, right stick to lean right.

Or using the right thumbstick like in BFV. Want to lean on the right? you press the right side of the right thumbstick Want to lean on the left? Press the left side of the right thumbstick

I play on PC with my PS5 controller. Custom controls. Leaning is the Bumpers. Have no issues.

did you switch to 4k quality when streamed Stalker? I saw another video blogger who was streamed by using 720p, and game graphic was shitty because of that

I hope these are console settings or just the console version, but with microsoft as partner you never know as they often try to force you to have similar looks on all versions. Some of the particle effects look bad and the reflections in some of the video footage seem to use a simple cubemap. Also some textures and assets seems rather low resolution. Looks like a UE4 game/project ported over to UE5, which it probably is. Also the night looks too bright for my taste. My expectations are low anyways, pre-ordered the game longtime ago to support the effort of the devs, it will either be a decent game with some bugs, or just a bugfest without substance, we still know nothing about the AI or A-life 2.0 in general which is in my humble opinion a possible redflag.

actually, agreed, I get how its annoying to watch your character do nothing with no input of yours... gameplay wise, but I wouldve preferred about 50% slower indeed

@@lennic tarkov is not even complex imo, there should be infections, sickness, long term healing from traumatic injuries, theres should also be many effects on the body/stamina from these things too. big missed opportunity

@@bobbysauer7826 mods will add it, I actually don't like Body Health System mod for anomaly, for instance, it gets really really tedious and unfun, but I want some more LONG term debuffs to just recklessly going out indeed, gotta visit a medic once in awhile that would be cool !

Thats definitly a "casual" version of Stalker 1, too much ammunition imo and the UI seems to be made for console players only.

Next you're gonna tell me the scanner towers are ubisoft mapping towers : ) but fair, The trilogy was moving away from SoC already within a span of few years, SoC to CS to CoP, I feel like S2 feels like a natural modernization from CoP to S2, as much as SoC to CoP modernized and kind of conventionalised and video-gameified stuff, so to say.
