Debates are stupid. They should be required to sustain a one-hour conversation. Not a debate. A conversation. That would tell us so much more. Both candidates agreed to the rules where the moderators were not supposed to fact check the candidates. Walz had the opportunity to fact check JD Vance, and I wouldn't mind Vance being pressured to answer a tough question. The point is the moderators were not supposed to get involved, and they went back on the terms of the agreement. 2. That would not even have been close to being a viral moment in the favor of Harris, Vance stood his ground and proves how biased the debate moderators were. This was a win for the Trump campaign. 3. The only viral moment that will come from this debate is where a man who is running to be second in command to the president of the United States of America, and the leader of the free world stated on national television "sometimes I'm a knucklehead." at least he was being honest in that less than a minute later he tapped danced around the lie he told when he said he had been at the Tiananmen Square protests. He was 100% correct, he was a knucklehead.
