I just turned 16 and I've always had an interest in sea travel. I am building a model ship for a project in school out of scrap and I was looking for videos on real ships being built and I came across these videos of weird people known as liveaboards and I must say thing truly looks amazing. I really want to do this. The youngest person to sail around the world was a 16 old girl! That's amazing. I have never had a life goal for some reason but I now have one which is to sail around the world. I know many people have done it and it's not the most amazing goal but I will do it some day. I am excited for the future!

What a tear jerker at the beginning. We look forward to your videos and watch them the minute they come out. We cried NOOO!!" when you announced that Parity was for sale. But the ending of the video saved the day! Really glad to see you'll be continuing on. We'll pledge once your Patreon page is ready.. you're one of our favorite cruising channels, and use you for motivation in preparing for our cruise in 2018!

Sorry to see this adventure come to an end, but glad you have decided to move back down and get back on the boat! The girls that I dated longer term since living aboard thought it was cool that I live on my boat in the beginning, but inevitably ask where we will buy a condo when we decide to move in together. This was the beginning of the end! lol I just can't imagine ever moving back to land! Looking forward to seeing your new adventures!! Alfy

For jobs you should go on TripAdvisor find the top 3 restaurants and apply for servers or bartenders. My wife and I did it for 2 years working in Ft Myers Beach Fl and the Keys then we had a son so cruising is on hold for a year. Been great watching you guys from start to finish makes me regret not filming more when we were living aboard. Can't throw you any cash but if you turn on google ad sense I'll watch the ads so you guys make a couple cents each time.

guys, you're doing great, don't give up on what you want out of life. unless you're independently wealthy or have a huge KZbin following, some time on land is a necessity. at your age to have taken the trip you did and learn all that you've learned is not only memories that you'll always have but also priceless experience. look forward to all future videos... even if they're in land for awhile.

You guys have been such a wonderful influence for me and my father to get sailboats and for me to do liveaboard. I'm currently looking for my first sailboat, I'm so obsessed with the idea of it! So I thank you for keep on keeping on! The first part of this video was breaking my heart because I thought you were done, but I'm so happy you're gonna continue!! Good luck guys, can't wait for more!!

I have really enjoyed watching all your videos. I didn't realize there was 50 of them though! It is true you are only young once and yes, money is tight for most of us out here. I will find a way to help you even though I'm not independently wealthy. I like the passion you both have for sailing and it appears you are walking on the right path in life - following your dreams while you are young and you both are willing to work hard to keep you on that path too. It appears you both get along beautifully, and I hope that is the way it really is. I am a dog lover and Lola is so darn cute & feisty! Love seeing her in the videos! Please keep giving us videos ... and do so even once the Bahamas videos are over and if you are land bound - I want updates on you two!. I follow another sailing guy on youtube, Rick Moore, and he gets all kinds of sponsors and for their sponsorship he films a video for them and posts it on his youtube page. Maybe you two could get some sponsors this way as well. Check him out and you will be amazed at all the work his boat received this past spring (paid for in part or in full by his sponsorships). Good luck you too!

Right on guys! I have loved following your journey over the past 50 vlogs. No matter what comes next, you can bet your fans will have your back the whole time. If you ever go back to cruising, would you consider coming up into eastern Canada? Or would you be looking to go back south? Another tip, is the Canadian dollar is so low right now, if you sell your boat, you could easily score a great deal on a Canadian boat up here. Keep up the great videos guys.

If you do decide to buy a second boat, I recommend a Catalina 35, really is a nice boat, and Catalina makes some of the best sailing boats, very practical too. But they tend to be in the $30,000-$50,000 range, so if you can't afford one of those, try a c&c, almost the same, but a lot cheaper, I have a c&c 30, and it sails amazing, and quite a nice live aboard

A few boats to consider: Morris Leigh 30 double ender. Morris Justine 36 Hinckley B-40 Bowman 46 I prefer a boat under 40 feet for manageability, maintenance, and simplicity. All the above are well established offshore capable boats with great pedigrees ( like Lola). The first 3 are made in Maine and the construction is straightforward and uncomplicated. It might be fun to go to Maine and take a tour at Morris and Hinckley. They would love to meet you and might have some contacts and ideas to get you back on the water soon. I have a friend who was given the use of a H-B40 and sailed it around the world for the owner, at the owner's expense. Tell Morris I sent you!

I'm waiting to see one fully dubbed episode called "The LOLA Chronicles” from tying together all of her exploits during your journey. I know you guys are a little depressed right now but do not fret. It will all come together for you. You represent the American Dream, at least what is left of it and you will get the support when the time comes. Keep the videos coming and get your tails back on "PARITY" as soon as possible before you lose your juice. First of course, complete your business model and you will be surprised just how quickly things will fall into place. Why your current model works so well:: 1) The Ocean 2) Sailing 3) New Adventures (Escapism) 4) The Boy & Girl Next door (Youth & The Promise Of What Is To Come) 5) Good looks and fun loving personalities (A Killer Combination) 6) Tie it all together with a winning Dog (Really love LOLA) I have really enjoyed watching you guys grow up since your journey began onboard PARITY. “The World Is Your Oyster” "carpe diem" Good luck.....My Wife and I will be watching : )

I guess I should have watched the video to the end before commenting. I love you two but I am a working stiff with an old boat that needs work which calls for a lot money too. I wish you both well but I can't fix my boat and support you as well. I hope you can get back out on the water soon. All the best. s/v Spokojny

What a journey !! However I'm sort of surprised you didn't release all the trip videos before sort of wrapping things up and leaving us hanging on the rest of the journey. I know you'll catch is up, but I' so dying to see the rest of the adventure including your path back to Florida. Also, no real explanation as to why you stopped the trip in SC and not return parity to Massachusetts and finish the loop. You have a mooring there I assume. Anyway, lost of loose ends, lol... BTW, what you need is a center cockpit so you have a real and full aft cabin for a real live-aboard lifestyle...I'll be watching, best wishes,go Pats !!

Jack Hoffman My Dad now lives in South Carolina, I figured they leave their boats in the water year round it'd be our best bet if we weren't planning on traveling soon, as opposed to MA with the seasons. Parity's on the hard right now, no mooring or dockage yet. So much footage to release, woulda been months before anyone knew what our actual plans were!

By chance, can you release like an after-trip report? Something that really interests us rookies is the financial aspect of living aboard. Budget per week, costs of customs, food costs, marinas, etc. I am especially aware of your need to sustain the sailing. S/V Delos has kind of stated that they sail until they run out of money, and then work, save, sail, rinse, repeat. lol. Love these videos though, cute couple. I hope you continue to sail.

Thanks for the excellent tour of the Ericson 30+. I am about to purchase a 1984 Ericson 30+ up in the Pacific NW, and this was very useful. I gotta ask...The boom is really low! Did you ever think that was a problem?? Thanks and best wishes to you both!
