I'm infertile, so I don't have a comment like the others talking about how it feels to have a baby move within you. I can only imagine the sensation; I will never be able to experience it. It breaks my heart and leaves me empty, knowing my womb will never carry life. It is a grief that I wouldn't wish on any woman. Being unable to conceive is an unfair curse. 💔💔 To the other women who may be taking pregnancy for granted, please consider what an amazing blessing it is. Not every woman can get pregnant and have the blessings you do. To carry a child is such an honor!! The little one growing inside of you knows only of you and your love. How incredible is that! ❤❤

I have 4 other kids, and I'm a single mother. I can barely pay the bills on time, I'm at risk of being evicted and some nights we go hungry. I was considering abortion for my 5th child, but after watching this, I came back into the light and realized it would be so wrong to deprive a child of this wonderful thing we call life. Her name will be Olivia too. ❤❤❤

@@RockyOtter hey, don’t discourage her! She’s choosing life for her baby, and especially with her circumstances I think that’s very honorable. Just because her baby’s life will be difficult doesn’t make her any less worthy of life! It is not selfish for her to keep her baby, in fact it is selfless! She is an example of what a mother SHOULD be: willing to give it all for her children. She did not ask for your opinions and discouragement, she was simply sharing that this video saved a LIFE! This is something we should be celebrating, not fighting. I hope you have a great day! 🤍

I am going to make a list. #1-The hypocrisy that a woman can not choose to control a function of her body the way she wants to. Yet the same pro-life movement freely supports capital punishment. #2-The hypocrisy that a woman can not control a biological function the way that makes sense to her, yet those in power do it in secret all the time. #3-The hypocrisy that a woman can not make a decision that affects her entire future, yet the man is free to walk away, deny the part he played and at worst he might be made to pay child support if the woman has the ability to force the issue in court. #4-The hypocrisy that a woman can be forced to allow her body to do something that can inherently be dangerous while an abortion takes away that danger. I am speaking at this point to the number of women who have had wanted pregnancies that have gone wrong and the proper medical care has been denied due to laws that are poorly written by men who are not doctors… #5-This planet is over populated. Sure there is room to shove in some more humans. But the more crowded this planet becomes, the more resources are used up, the more pollution we cause, the more forever garbage we produce, the less our quality of life will be. #6-Many of us do no believe that an early developing fetus has a soul or that life begins at conception. And forcing us to believe what just some believe is wrong. #7-The ignorance that many in the pro-life movement have that every pregnancy should continue til birth. That every pregnancy is perfect, that every mother will be able to safely carry that fetus to term without any real impact on her or on the fetus. That no mother has a health issue that makes pregnancy dangerous. No mother has a dangerous lifestyle that she may or may not be able to control at the time of the pregnancy. That no mother may be in a very bad place at the time of pregnancy and that by ending the pregnancy, she then may be able to get out of that place. #8-The ignorance of many in the pro-life movement about adoption and fostering. In the US it is a broken system in all 50 states, with children that are never adopted and leave the system at age 18 unprepared for adult life. They also do not understand that unless you give birth to a perfect, cute little white baby, your child may never be adopted and foster care may be hit and miss. The experience of a newborn having bonding with a loving parent will not happen. Now add an additional 10K births per year, which has happened in Texas, and there is no way the system will be able to properly provide for all of them if they are given up at birth. #9-That the same pro-lifers who want to control the lives of others, are the same ones who don’t want anyone controlling their lives. #10-The same pro-lifers are also working towards controlling birth control options so women will have even more unwanted pregnancies. The same pro-lifers do not want sensible easy access to birth control options. They do not want truthful comprehensive sex education taught to their children despite it is rarely ever taught in the home. They are against all the ways that unwanted pregnancies can be avoided to start with so the need for abortion becomes less of an issue.

@@cks7548 the hypocrisy that pro-aborts bitch and moan about unwanted kids in adoption/foster care but do nothing about it. @@cks7548 Capital punishment is for convicted criminals who've committed the most serious crimes so not sure exactly what are you trying to compare those monsters with. Regardless of what you believe, that's the reality - it's a baby from day 1. Woman have all the control - *to use contraception*. You keep on mentioning women's control. Why don't they take control over their bordies, can you tell me? (Don't start on rape, that's the rarest cases of unwanted pregnancies). If a woman gets pregnant while also not wanting that (and is not raped) she is absolutely guilty of her irresponsible behaviour. It's alright, I see you support death and no accountability.

Life is a miracle ❤ I had a miscarriage during my first pregnancy at 8 weeks, which was really heart breaking, but I was grateful that at 6 weeks when I had an ultrasound they were able to pick up the heart beat and I at least got to hear the baby's heartbeat ❤ It stunned me honestly. It's amazing how much is happening even at 6 weeks! Having had that miscarriage in my first pregnancy, which I never thought would happen to me, it made me realize - life isn't always a guarantee, and we should value and protect it as much as we can.

That's our Creator God for you! We are fearfully and wonderfully made by a mighty awesome True and Living God who loves us and has formed each of us in our mothers womb. Read Psalm 139. It's beautiful about the life in the womb. Life begins at conception. The devil is a liar and blinds eyes to our value and worth to God and tries to destroys life in the womb by saying " it's just tissue." No! it is a life. A separate person. Heart beats before momma even knows she is with child. It's a beating heart = alive. Yes, our DNA is all there. Do you know Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Creator God who died for our sins and Rose again on the third day? He loves you.

@Parnell Anderson God is not the one handing out suffering to his beloved creation. Satan is behind all the suffering you see in this world. God wants to save you from that suffering and the way to do that is to believe in Him, have faith that He will make things right. God doesn't always answer the moment you ask for His help. He needs you to value what He has given you, even if that means that you need to suffer. I don't know what your life has been like, but God does. He knows all. He is waiting for you child. He is calling out to your soul. He wants to give you healing, peace, comfort and love. Take the first step my friend. Recognize that you are a sinner and that you cannot get into heaven by your works alone. Repent of your sins; ask for forgiveness from your Father. Jesus's blood will then cover all your sins and you shall be set free, made new. You will become a born again Christian and the burden that you carry on your shoulders will be lifted off. This is the way, the only way for you to find healing and happiness. God does exist, you just got to take a leap of faith. God bless you Parnell Anderson.

well how early on did you go? i think it was less of a "if you don't keep them long enough they don't exist" but more of a "it's too early for us to be certain that the egg will implant properly" because its common in the early stages for things to go wrong and they probably didn't want you to get attached in case something did happen though, judging from the first part, you already were attached

I used o to be pro choice, even though I have and never would perform an abortion, but recently I’ve listening to conservatives argue why abortions should not happen. So if abortion is there to purportedly save lives, ask yourself whether the people who oppose it know that women will get abortions anyway, those abortions just won't be safe. And so instead of 22,000 deaths per year from unsafe abortions, that number will skyrocket. Is that pro-life? When there are barriers to accessing safe abortion and contraception, maternal mortality rates rise. And so even though the US already has the highest maternal mortality rate in the developed world, that number will skyrocket. Is that pro-life? If the pro-life folks are actually interested in saving lives, then prove it by not imposing literal death sentences on the people who already exist. - Bryan Tyler Cohen

I support a woman's right to choose her own healthcare decisions. 70-80% of Americans feel abortion is a human right. A fetus isn't a baby. The "baby" as you it starts out as a clump of cells. It does not have a heartbeat because it has no organs. It is completely reliant on the mother at that point, and my point of contention here is whether or not it can feel, hear, see, etc. It should not be given more bodily autonomy than the mother. The difference between a fetus and a baby is that a one-day-old infant is not relying on the mother to sustain them. The infant has body autonomy, the way the mother should. The basic right is stripped from women when we dictate that they should be forced to carry a child to full term. The people wanting women to have fewer rights never seem to have an opinion on the father's responsibilities.

Here's the thing, guys: It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter when life begins. It doesn't matter whether a fetus is a human being or not. That entire argument is a red herring, a distraction, a subjective and unwinnable argument that could not matter less. It doesn't matter whether we're talking about a fertilized egg, or a fetus, or a baby, or a five-year-old, or a Nobel Prize winning paediatric oncologist. That's it. That's the argument. You cannot be forced to donate blood, or marrow, or organs, even though thousands die every year on waiting lists. They cannot even harvest your organs after your death without your explicit, pre-mortem permission. Denying women the right to abortion means we have less bodily autonomy than a corpse.
@goldsoul268
@goldsoul268 7 ай бұрын
@@cks7548 actually it does matter because although you dont have to be the one to give a kidney to a 30 year old, a mothers womb is the ONLY place a baby can survive. remaining pregnant until birth is a selfless act for the valued life of another human being. once the baby is born, yeah if you dont want to use your body to take care of it, the hospital can take it and someone will adopt it. pregnancy is tough but we all know pregnancy ends, and you can keep the baby or you can give it away. courage is doing a hard thing because it is nessecary. killing your child before that 9 months of your life is not. that is misguided and selfish. love is hard but it is important, and it is nessecary. we are being told its survival of the fittest and that its every man for himself when thats farthest from the truth. we should be living for eachother, not for ourselves. the more we think about ourselves, the less we think about other people. thats how animals live, for themselves. yet you NEVER want to mess with a mother bear and her cubs. the fact that a creature that lives for itself is still more protective of life than a human being is insane. we have our intelligence so that we DONT live like animals but we choose to anyways. dont you see how wrong that is?

Big thing to remember: this video does not use "weeks" the way doctors nor the laws do. You need to add two weeks to every description to bring it up to speed with everything else you will read. For convenience, what a doctor means by "3 weeks" is actually three weeks since your last menstrual period, not three weeks past fertilization. The first two "weeks of pregnancy" are the period, when no one is even pregnant yet. This is a convention because before ultrasounds and pregnancy tests were very sophisticated, it was hard to figure out when someone was pregnant, and that was the most reliable way to start timing it. Most women find out they are pregnant at the four week mark, when they finally miss their period--but this would be only about two weeks past conception, so the beginning of this video shows what 3.5 to 4 weeks looks like, not week one. The four weeks past conception/fertilization in this video actually would be called six weeks when at the doctor's office that early.
@LiveActionFilms
@LiveActionFilms Жыл бұрын
Yes, as the video itself states, age is measured from fertilization and not from LMP (last menstrual period), which generally adds 2 weeks.
@youtubbieXD
@youtubbieXD 3 ай бұрын
@@LiveActionFilms of course, and this video is intentionally using that common point of confusion to mislead lay-people to believe that their baby is much more developed than in reality. The heartbeat cannot be detected at 4 weeks post-conception, it is still an egg sac at that point. Fetal movements are not felt until 16 weeks at the earliest, and first time mothers don't feel anything until 25 weeks. Life does not begin at conception OR fertilization. And even that is a misdirection from the real problem here, the mother's right to bodily autonomy.

@@jenr3493Yep, I would love to see first, second and third trimester abortions via ultrasound and have them shown at highschool. I would also love to show the different abortion types, like the abortion pill, D and C, etc and how it kills the baby. Even Planned Parenthood doesn't show their clients the abortion when they request to view it.

Some women are physically unable to carry, and are told they have a high risk of dying before after or while giving birth... some are also told they may not deliver a healthy or completely delveloped baby... they must assess the risks, its already hard enough on a woman if they must choose this option. So don’t judge them until you’ve been in there shoes, cause you don’t truly know until you have experienced it...

@@explorer8125 The risk should be analyzed before creating another human being. And risk is just that: Risk. Abortion isn't a risk, it's a killing. There are many other solutions that don't guarantee the death of the unborn baby. Adoption, C-section, etc. The idea that I must experience a pregnancy personally to be able to say that killing a human is wrong is not logical. It would be like me saying a person can't say theft is wrong if they've never been poor.

@@amos6235 there are still risks with carrying a child. my mother almost died giving birth to me cause she had an aneurysm from complications... also as a woman if i did carry a baby through, whether forced or by choice. i would keep it and make it work because i would not put my child up for adoption. especially after going through childbirth, being one of the most painful experiences you can have...i was put in foster care and know all too much about the system... and i would want the best for it and the best doctor but it would be hard if you had no insurance and was not in a place in your life to care for it right. and no family to help

Currently 26 weeks pregnant (#3) with a baby boy that I never thought I’d be able to have. I was told after my 2nd I’d never have kids again (or shouldn’t) because I’m a diabetic and it’s unsafe for me or a baby. I got my health in order and got my diabetes under control and here we are 7 years after my 2nd child and doing absolutely wonderful. Children are such a blessing. They’re the future. ❤

How amazing to watch a life form and grow. I have three grown children and nothing has or will ever come close to the joy they have given to me. I can still remember each one of those pregnancy and how I love them from the very first moment. It was so fascinating to think I had this teeny tiny little human growning inside me. My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary this year and let me tell you none of it was easy, it was all hard! We both worked full time and then some we never had enough money and we still don't. There was times I was so tired I didn't think I'd make it and life wouldn't slow down and time actually appeared to be speeding up. And other times I felt totally defeated like nothing I did was enough. But inspite of everything I've never regretted having my children. They have filled my life with love and happiness even a bit of mystery at times. There is nothing in this world that could even compare to the joy they have brought my life! I thank God each and every day for my many blessings and those three gifts he entrusted me with many years ago.

So beautiful. From all 7 of my pregnancies, the excitement of knowing and following each step of growth from conception on was an amazing and humbling experience. From the point I knew I was pregnant, the first time I could hear their heartbeats, to their first cries are all important milestones that are remembered and written in their baby books right along with first steps, first words, etc. Each one of my children are amazing creations that I thank God for; from conception not just from birth.

Except the video lied when it said the fetus heartbeat can be detected at 3weeks and 1 day. The initial heartbeat occurs between 5 1/2 & 6 wks gestation. You can barely see the gestational sac on transvaginal ultrasound at 3wks because it's really tiny, let alone the yolks sac or fetal pole. If you can't see the fetal pole at 3wks how are you going to detect cardiac activity? The answer is you can't, I know because I'm an ultrasound tech and I scan 1st trimester pregnancies several times throughout my workday.
