Even as a veteran, I feel like the chances of getting the financial means to get this paid for is basically impossible. I did not earn a purple heart, but survived 3 separate IED strikes, and therefore don't even end up on the radar of these wonderful veteran organizations. I suffer from immense pain both locally in my lumbar/facet joints, as well as radiculopathy in both legs. I am chained to pain medication and it effects EVERY aspect of my daily life negatively. I don't know how to feel after seeing this video. I am so glad this vet got what he needed, but this just seems too far out of reach for 99% of other vets injured overseas.
