Since this video 5 years has passed. is it M6 still not approved here? I have issues at L3-4, L4-5 in my lumbar, and T4 in my neck. I'm only 48 and have been suffering for a year. Life is pretty miserable!! I have a surgeon here who wants to perform disc replacement on my neck first and then discuss surgery for my lumbar. Hearing all of you talk about what you have done there makes me wonder if I could trust the doctor here and have the same amazing outcome with this brand disc. He uses Orthofix. Please give me your input. I am so happy for all of you. May you all continue to live life to the fullest with health and joy and never pain. 🥰🙏🏼

I'm have lumbar ADR done on Wednesday here in California. I do believe the states are catching up to Germany. I've had diskectomy and Laminectomy and it failed 5 weeks later. We didn't think insurance was going to cover but they did. I've had multiple ablation, the diskectomy and epidural. I've heard so many great things about ADR. My surgeons are Herr in San Luis Obispo California

Is there financing options at all. Does American insurance work in Germany?

I wish I could go also to Germany to get my artificial discs replacement C5 to C7. I am scared that they will not do a good job on me. I can't afford the plane ticket and stay in Germany. I have Boeing insurance. I don't think they cover Germany care.

I am afraid that they will not do a good job here in US Washington State. I was recommended Artificial Discs replacement from a Neurosurgeon. I can't afford to go to Germany for Surgery. I don't think my Boeing insurance will cover going to Germany.

Excuse me for a stupid question. But I must know... WHY in the USA this kind of surgery with M6 imlant isn't used? I mean it's their technology , they invented M6 and they send it in Europe.. why? I'm living in a third world called Ukraine. Is so close to Germany but I will never have enough money for the surgery I badly needed... But I hope to find some doctors here who may replace at least one of my degenerative disc with M6 . That's why I'm researching about this implant and the very one question is bothering me.. before M6 I was recommended only TLIF and I don't want this cos I already have two broken discs...

Hello Satine. We understand your frustration. The M6-C (cervical) is nearing approval for single-level use in the US. The process to get devices approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is lengthy and extremely expensive. Nonetheless, approval is expected for single-level use in 2019. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not started lumbar certification yet because of the extreme expense. So for now, the lumbar device is used in more than 25 countries...but not the US. Even when cervical approval is received, people will still need to travel abroad for multi-level surgery (which most people actually need) and to access the most experienced surgeons. For yourself, we recommend you get a complimentary evaluation with our surgeons. You can use this form. As for cost, it might surprise you. The expense is usually for lower than people expect. www.enande.com/evaluation-form.html
