You have reminded me of a vital piece of advice from a former instructor many years ago; Thumbnail sketches save time and are often very satisfying. Procreate makes every aspect of rendering so much more convenient. Thank you very much for your inspiring channel.

setting perspective aid at the beginning is a game changer for me; I didn't realise how much it helps.

Thank you for this video, so much helpful information! When you put the dots in the corners to make the transform rectangle around the little figure in the first thumbnail, I exclaimed out loud! Genius! So many great tips, but that one especially got me so excited! Your work is fantastic, and inspiring, thank you!

immense work :) Can I ask do you use reference at all when doing thumbnails like this?
@nikolailockertsen5 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I often do not. But sometimes I will have some inspiration on a seperate screen. I often end up not looking at it becouse I get too emersed in the painting :-)

Great video! Is it just me or is the sound cracking somehow? Maybe you can look into this for future videos. :)

I think this is the sound of the Apple Pencil on the screen?
@boblatzer5 жыл бұрын
It’s the typewriter Georgie is using.
@ReportsOnChina4 жыл бұрын
Yeah there’s a problem, the sound is popping and cracking at times. It’s quite uncomfortable, but his voice makes up for it. (It’s not the pencil on the screen.)

MarcyKatya YT it helps to see how the drawing is turning out, symmetry vise, composition etc, if we flip it the other way!

why do you always invert-mirror your image, while drawing ?
@KirillNedorosol5 жыл бұрын
It's the common trick to refresh the perception of your drawing. It helps find skewing and element displacement and just general mistakes. Traditional artists used actual mirror, now we can just flip image in software.

I find the clicking of your apple pen very annoying. Please explain or at least deliberately show which brushes you are using. Of course th3 screen video s/w you use to produce this video is a true time saver, you lose explanatory brush info. Bad trade off, imho.

ROBERT RODRIGUEZ it’s a video about thumbnails not brushes. Any brush will do 👍
