Jimmy Case was a tough and rough midfield player for the Kop. I think he was more tough and rough in the Liverpool midfield than McDermott and Souness

he had the lot. dont think he gets the credit or recognition he deserves. i recently chose my all time liverpool XI and jimmy was on the right of midfield. id have no hesitation in picking him over some of the greats that have worn the red. he would fit into any great team no problems. clemence nicol carragher hansen a.kennedy case gerrard souness barnes dalglish rush

even though i was born in 82, jimmy is one of my favorite liverpool players, my dad has watched liverpool since the late 50s, and he told me he had a shot like thunder and a crunching tackle too, could do with an hard case like jimmy case now at liverpool

Saw him regularly at The Goldstone....he was the hardest player I’ve even seen but he was also some player.

@@CrueLoaf Both Wardy and Jimmy had two spells at Brighton, Peter was lured to Forest by Peter Taylor (who signed him for the Albion) by the time Jimmy signed for the Seagulls in 1981 (Liverpool only released him because he was spending too many nights on the town with Ray Kennedy and they had to be split up) Wardy returned to the South Coast after not settling at Forest and would’ve played in the same team as Jimmy in 1982.
